Thank you for this video, I’ve been using Mixcraft since version 8. Goodness you just showed me a lot. I am a visual learner so it makes it so much easier for me to see what I am reading. I so hope that you will be able to bring more videos.

I love that someone is making content with M10PS. Mixcraft needs way more content. I just upgraded myself. Just wanna say that your voice is way low in the recording though. Had to really turn you up. Otherwise keep that content coming.

Thank you so very much for your kind comment! We found after recording that only the backup recording zoom device captured the audio. We have worked out our obs setup and are running it differently now. Looking forward to making some videos on the advanced routing we figured out for video capture and audio from the daw and into obs. We really appreciate your support and look forward to bringing you more Mixcraft tutorials!

If I released a song every time he said "Alright" I'd be well on my way.

If i mix/create a song with background vocals the whole nine yards lead vocals using loops, can i have copyrighted?
@commontimeproductions2 ай бұрын
Yes, for the most part. There are some loops that you can download via the "Library" tab at the bottom. Those loops and samples come from FreeSound.org and some of them have different licensing. The green diamond ones are considered "Public Domain (cc0)" which means you can use the loop or sample without crediting the creator. The yellow diamonds are for "Attribution (by)" which means that you have to give credit in your metadata where the loop or sample came from. Finally, we have the red diamond ones that mean "Attribution Non-Commercial (by-nc)" which means that you cannot use the sample or loop in anything that you are publishing for monetary purposes like streaming sites. The loops that come with Mixcraft are there to use as you wish like the public domain attribution. It might be nice to mention some credit where they came from, but they are there ready for you to use in your commercial projects if you so choose. As for full copyrighting I am not sure all exactly that you need if going through a major publisher using loops though. Using something like Distrokid works to register the music to you though. Hope that this helps!

hi I would like to send a Mixcraft track to Ableton live 12 standard. How can I do it? Thanks
@commontimeproductions5 ай бұрын
You would need to export all the tracks in your session as stems and then import them into Ableton. Hope that helps!

I like your videos, but this "song" seems all in the same key
@commontimeproductionsАй бұрын
Hello, Sam here. When I am working with my students, I like to keep things simple so they can have a finished piece when we are done. Most of the song kits in Mix craft are in a single key or at least the same chords in the key. I also will tend to stay in an ABAB song format or verse chorus verse chorus bridge chorus, again simple for the 10-year-old to the soccer mom, or weekend gig player I use the same tried and true methods.

This DAW lacks color, it's very boring. Each track should be assigned by default a gradient color, other DAWs are fun and pleasing to the eye, Mixcraft is like sequencing in the cemetery.

It’s not about the color it’s about the work flow
@axelmaldini4218 Жыл бұрын
That's your opinion dude, for me the color of a DAW is important, otherwise no DAW on the market would have them, what you say is a no-brainer.
@owenturley62149 ай бұрын
Colours are easily assigned in Mixcraft. Obviously he didn't want to.
