Creating a Windows 11 23H2 Bootable USB with the Dell Driver Pack Slipstreamed

In this video, I will use the disk image servicing and management (Dism) and disk partition (Diskpart) PowerShell commands to slipstream the Dell Windows PE Driver Pack to the boot.wim and the Dell Windows Driver Pack in the install.wim for my XPS13 9305. The latest cumulative update and .Net Framework cumulative update will also be slipstreamed.
The Dell Command/Dell Deploy Driver packs are only available for XPS, Latitude, OptiPlex and Precision ranges.
The Dell Command/Dell Deploy Windows Preboot Environment Driver Pack contains storage and network drivers such as the Intel Rapid Storage (IntelRST) drivers which are needed for Intel RAID or Intel VMD and are required to see the systems drive during the Windows Preboot Environment Setup.
The Dell Command/Dell Deploy Windows Driver Pack contains all the system drivers.

Finally got Windows 11 installed today. It took some more time than I thought because I tried using an old Windows 7 PC to update the wim files. That didn´t work so what I did instead is to rent a PC in the cloud for that step. Partitioning the USB with the Windows 7 PC also failed, so I instead used GParted for that and copied the files over using Ubuntu. Thank you again, I probably wouldn´t have succeeded without these instructions!

Thank you very much for the detailed instructions! I don't have the time to go through all the steps right now, but will hopefully get to it next weekend. One thing I noticed is that for my model (XPS 15 9570) and Windows 11 Dell only has a 'Deploy WinPE 11.0 Driver Pack' download available, no 'Deploy Driver Pack'. Does that imply that I cannot create a Windows 11 installer with slipstreamed drivers?

They have a XPS 15 9570 (8th Gen Processor) Windows 10 Driver Pack which was released just before Windows 11 release date. Since Windows 11 is effectively a build of Windows 10 and they use the same drivers, this driver pack should work with Windows 11. www.dell.com/support/kbdoc/en-uk/000124764/xps-15-9570-windows-10-driver-pack Some drivers in the driver pack are however older than what's listed on Dell Drivers and Downloads for the model for example the video drivers but these can be updated post install using Windows Update or Dell Update. You can also launch the Dell Update Package for the newer driver and use Extract and then extract to a subfolder in the InstallDrivers subfolder. I've not tested it but the extracted folder should have the drivers in the correct format.

I don't have the dell command files as I have a consumer model Inspiron 5505, Are there any alternative tools I can use?

Generally this method is used when installing Windows from the same image on multiple systems. The driver packs are therefore unavailable for Inspiron models i.e. Home sector model. The best you can do is slipstream a driver pack from a Latitude or XPS that has the same generation of processor. You will need to use Dell Update post-installation to install missing drivers.
