Do you think the OP-1 is worth the money? I don't plan on buying another synth anytime soon, but I did snap on your recommendation of the Model D, it sounds beautiful, so thank you.

The OP-1 is definitely unique and I've had my own moments of pure creativity with it. It's super fun to play with, although I often finding myself wish for more than 4 tracks and an undo feature. EDIT: answering your question, the used market price atm is very cheap.

If you can afford it and get a good deal on it, it will probably retain it's value so you can get your money back. It's a fun machine and the unique workflow will kinda force you out of your comfort zone creativly which I like. Keep in mind that the internal FX are not that great and it only plays mono samples. One of the reason why I use external effects is to make it sound more like stereo.

Well I wish it was less expensive too. But it was a decent investment I would say. I can sell it for the same amount I payed for it years ago. I like creative challenges so this little machine has served me well over the years.
