Yeah, its really fantastic.

Very cool. My understanding is that the cloth brush is actually using the cloth simulation code to do its job.
@ArtisansofVaul11 ай бұрын
From the results I would say it is doing exactly that and then having that level of control over setting up a simulation is very nice.

i like this type of interaction between quad size and details size, that was really something new and interesting. and ofc congrats with new and great tablet!!

Thanks so much. It's been huge fun. I agree the interaction is a nice one to understand once you know its there and its really helped by the multires tool allowing you to swap backwards and forwards in terms of detail.

Nice! You're getting into sculpting around the same time that I'm going to be focusing on it more. Will be looking forward to them videos!

Thanks. I was shocked at how easily this came together. I expected to need to do a lot more but the brush just works fantastically when you now the trick of sizing what it is being used on. Similar with adding the detailing shown at the end. That is just so easy to do now it feels like I really shouldn't be 😅

Loved it, still very new but trying to learn, any pointers if I want something more ripped and tattered?
@ArtisansofVaul11 ай бұрын
Good question. It should work just as well on things like that so I'd probably do that before moving the banner. The only issue is that will mess up the next step (detailing in the next video) if you did it that way.
@oleww5011 ай бұрын
Great video! Is there a way to add a design or pattern onto the banner? Like an svg, after sculpting?
@ArtisansofVaul11 ай бұрын
The last 30 seconds shows what's coming up in the next video Ive got coming. So the answer is an emphatic yes!

Cool thanks, some great tips here, trying to get into sculpting myself but it's not easy being a dreadful artist 😂
@ArtisansofVaul11 ай бұрын
Haha. I'm the same. Designing I can do, drawing/art like that I'm horrible. It's why I don't do sketches before I start making things 😅
