I’m trying to increase my output but it’s hard juggling my work and YT vids, the actual design doesn’t normally take me that long, it takes a lot longer on every project when you recording and editing the video too!

👍 to be fair that is just their main company website, the TV focused website looks a lot better 😀

Solid work. The brand guidelines have been well thought through and the design is vastly superior to their current branding. Enjoy watching other designers go through their processes and I'll look out for more content on your channel.

I totally missed Part 3, but when you recapped them options, #5 jumped out at me. I’m really glad you went with that one. The infinity symbol incorporation definitely makes it memorable. And the style guide is so comprehensive and excellently designed. Another spot on job. Great wooooork!

Then you say you are not a good writer lol, bro you write better than me.. great work man, this was an eye opener on my end so thank you so much. Quick question, if Toshiba would approach you today (July 2023) and say "We like everything that you did and we want to use it", how much would you charge them and why?
@Oryon444 жыл бұрын
Great video, everything you did looked really professional. Random question but I've never seen you use this platform to promote your own portfolio as a designer here. Why is that?

Thanks glad you like the vid! I work full time at a design agency and don’t share the work I do there because of NDA’s and I also just generally like to keep work and hobbies separate (even if they are super similar or even the same thing haha)

Great to see this as Im just doing now a brand update/refresh and very helpful to revisit processes and approaches - I have a question in case you see this, I have the idea to print out a little booklet at A5 landscape wonder if you recommend starting with that dimension for print or if better to create at dimensions you were using so its good sizing for online pdf but then somehow scale it down for A5 as a print file if that is possible or needs 2 x seperate file setups? many thanks!
@RebrandEverything Жыл бұрын
In that instance, I’d just work in A5 landscape. The reason is that A5 landscape will be fine on screen (it’s not 16:9 but it’ll still work) and doing it 16:9 doesn’t translate to any decent print size which means either custom cuts OR resizing the artwork which is a time suck. Don’t forget your 3mm bleed 🙃

9:05 you have mistyped the logo caption "minimum size in print ...", instead of "... on screen ..." in bottom right
