Im in the process of starting a business renting outdoor gear, freelance work and instruction and i also have plans which could take this down the road of being a brand. I knows nothing about any of this really. I have a company name, but no idea how I put that into a logo. I get a bit more about brand guidelines, i found out about that term yesterday! Should i be looking at getting a logo designed first, getting someone to help create brand guidelines or someone who can do both? Then theres social mediaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhh

Question 🙋🏻♀️ If I create a logo and I want to represent it through mockups. And if in one of the mockup I use different typeface for aesthetic reasons. Should I include that font in the brand style guide?
@misiafisia12302 жыл бұрын
I realize it's been 5 months but no one replied so i decided to do it. You shouldn't use a different typeface just for mockup, it defeats the whole purpose of creating a visual identity. It has to be consistent because that's how you build a visual identity. Maybe reconsider the typeface you used for the brand altogether if it doesn't look good on the potential product? Best wishes and good luck!
