Hi kilAcez21, how did your exam go? I've recently started looking at whether someone can get a decent education from a platform like KZbin without going through a formal learning system. So i'm intereted in knowing if what you got from KZbin was enough to pass your exam

You haven't answered. It's really not wise to not read the book. KZbin alone isn't an education.

You may learn a lot on your own from KZbin, but it does not take the place of a college degree. It also won't matter to any future employers.

@@sebastianuribe9410 It went well! Thanks for asking!! Id say the best tip I have is don't try to overcomplicate the ideas, break them down into more manageable chunks and go from there. Hope this helps! Good luck :D

It is of crucial importance to note that economists themselves recognize the inadequacy of precision and accuracy in GDP measurement - such as the preclusion of black market transactions and transactions arising from products that are being resold (used goods) or services that are being rendered to one's self (you fix your own sink in contrast to some other's). The only reason, however, why it is so universally used is that there is in fact no unit of measurement more fastidious than GDP, as the measurement itself arose circa the Great Depression. I am all the while inclined to think that an improvement is in the works. And Ms. Nussbaum mentioned the case of China and its high GDP. While it is true that China's economy in terms of GDP is comparably higher, its GDP per capita-or per person-is still relatively meager. Bear in mind China's preponderance in population size. Its high GDP is due to the aggregation of its colossal populace, but in proportion to each citizen, the figures lose their intensity.

Are you joking she is not a philosopher She is an apologist presenting some moralistic measures. She rejects Marxian concept if labor in favor Aristotelian feudal pity .. totally a ruling class stooge . She even loves Induc like she loves her poodle talking volumes about India without having any knowledge of Indic schools of thought , and yet claims to be a philosopher. She lacks any critical understanding ontology . It is great that Judith Miller never replies to her. She rejects debate and relies on Doxa. She is a dangerous euro centric patronizer along with Amartya zSen who was awarded a Nobel prize because the authorities liked his sycophancy.

That got better as it went. The first half seemed a little to lefty libby. Also, it was weird how she connected fasting to unhealthiness.
@widnierose1707
@widnierose1707 5 ай бұрын
I think she's referring to the right to choose. Fasting and being starved stem from similar backgrounds of not eating the biggest difference being one is a choice the other isn't. Her point is that people deserve the right to live their lives to their highest potential/ versions of themselves.
