I have a question if that's alright. I’m a fan of making fakemon regions myself, and I’m basing different trainers off different gods. I make the top god or goddess/the ruler of the pantheon the region’s champion, family members of, or other just as popular/well known gods/goddesses becomes the elite 4 members, and other popular/well known gods/goddesses becomes the gym leaders, or other important/noticeable characters in order to fill out the world and make it more believable/lived in. So my question is, which of the hindu gods would you see as the most natural fit as the chamipon/elite 4? From what I understand it, there isn’t a god/goddess that’s the designated ruler in this pantheon, but there are also some very important ones that holds great importance. From what I’ve learned, there’s the trio of Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva. Then there’s Ganesha, whom always gets prayed to first if I remember correctly. And then there’s Indra, who’s seen as a king without that being his official title as far as I understand it. So yeah, I’m having a bit of a hard time figuring out who would most naturally fit where, and I would appriciate some help if you can give it.

Out of pure curiosity from my part (as someone outside of the hindu religion looking in), and if you don't mind of course, is it correct that Shiva is more popular/more common to pray to? Just a bit curious as he, Vishnu and Brahma belong in the same group (although I have read that as the creator, Brahma is above regular/daily worship as his power is beyond the understanding of humans).

@@1Katakana Shiva and Vishnu are equally popular gods, Shiva more in Shaiviks and Vishnu more in Vaishnavs. Both are of same status & as per some texts “inseparable” (they worship/are devotees of each other). Bramha is the creator of universe but is not worshiped (except in few temples eg. Pushkar) due to varying reasons (he is regarded as lesser of the three, there a few stories regarding this tldr he was punished for ego). Indra is king of heavens, as per veds he is the king of gods while as per puranas “Indra” is just a it’ll for king of gods (not an actual name of god).

I’ve been praying for a south Asian inspired pokémon region since I was 12 and this just proved how epic that would be😭 also I for starters I’d love to see a peacock (fire type), tiger(water type) and elephant (grass type) as starters just cuz they were my favourite animals to see when I would visit back home to india 🙏🏽❤️

@@PragMagik Please make this whole region videos like you fid with Corners and for gen 1 rodents You can use Rabbit motif and for legandaries use vahan (Animals on which gods travel)of Tridev (Brahma,Vishnu and Shiv) which Swan , Eagle and Dog Note: Shiva's Main Vahan is Nandi Bull But since you use the Bull motif in starter Use Dog Because This is the Vahan of One of the Reincarnation of Shiva Kaal Bhairav) and you Can make this legendary holy same as Arcanine and Calm and Brave with Typing as Mystic Fire Type.

Hoping that this ties into their gimmick as well, where you can choose from a variety of legendaries to act as deities in a battle acting as both a "global" item like selecting Regigas grants a bonus to stats every 5th turn, as well as a form of Gigantimax + Terrastilization , Providing bonus effects to a pokemon as well as changing their type. Rayquaza for example converts all your moves to Dragon type, Ho-Oh could act as a single use Focus sash that doesn't require an Ohko to activate, if the pokemon faints within the 3 turns that Ho~oh's Blessing remains active

Indian here. About those gold rings, there are plenty of languages in India and I know 2 of them. In Telugu, those gold rings are called Khadiyam and in Hindi, it's called a Kada. It could be called Keyur in other Indian languages, but I'm not really sure

This is so precious! I love all the thought and detail that went into this creation! I feel as if I go overboard in fan-designs, just like this, but seeing all of it come together is so satisfying. Very inspiring to me and my personal endeavors. You (and the rest of the lovely collaborators that worked so hard on this project) should be hired to make a new game fr! Other regions I want to see are Greece, an actual Japanese-inspired game (think tokyo/shinjuku modern stuff since legends arceus was set in an older era), and maybe Africa? The pokemon/animal inspiration is endless there lol

India has so many rich stories, both grim and uplifting! I recently learnt that the junglebook that disney adapted only had the first 3 chapters made, and in a later story there was a tale about a young orphaned mongoose protecting his foster family against cobras that constantly plotted to feast on them. Rikki-Tikki-Tavi is the name of the story and the mongoose, and I'd love to see a twist on yungoos based on the tale!

These are all amazing! I'm always partial to grass starters, and that's no different here! But all 3 designs are beautifully solid, especially Giaox-- it's nice to see an ox starter design that is sleek and elegant when they're usually big bulky and almost monstrous

Brandon this is excellent. Hey about the Shishrub line specifically, the moon pattern on the forehead. Let it be a half moon(semicircle) in the mid stage and a full circle on fully evolving. This can be tied up to growing expertise on the psychic powers with successive evolutions thus, full development of the third eye(the full circle/moon) as you are playing with the Saadhu theme .

I was leaning toward splasp at first. I love snakes, and it was clearly going to go poison which is one of my favorite types but then I saw ignox and gaiox and I just love them so much. I love how gaiox feels graceful and majestic in a way most people would never associate with cows! You and the artists all did a great job creating these starters

Idea : I'm pretty sure you have already researched on the states of India but I live in nagaland one of the northeastern part of India and since it has the name naga u can make vasunami and it's evolutions reside in the northeastern part of your map and you can make pokemons based on Mithun , hornbill and tragopan as wild Pokemons there . I will be very happy if u can do that ☺️

The cow one looks adorable at first, but gets not so cute as it grows, so I wouldn't choose that one. The snake one I liked up to the second evolution, but the third turned out to be kind of weird, so I wouldn't go for that one either, so I would go for the GOAT! All of it's stages look AMAZING! Omg I love this already. I’ve been loving Pokémon video series and the fact that it’s an exam to become a trainer. I like that scarlet and violet did that sort of with the school and the champion “ranked” trainer so it’s more “realistic” like for Pokémon you know very cool. Yes nostalgia from the early fantasy land but futuristic/but old timey (kanto and johto) regions are over I love that this series does. Still pokemon but it’s own thing like Pokémon black and white or even scarlet and violet. Bravo this was excellent.

Their design looks amazing! I do feel like Vasunami got the short end of the stick type-wise since it is weak against both psychic and ground making it vulnerable to both the other starters. But ig since it's a fakemon concept that doesn't really matter, incredible job on the designs
