Great tutorial. Have you ever made your own clay to use?
@TheLittleCraftHouse Жыл бұрын
Thank you. No I don’t make my own. This is polymer clay(store bought)- it’s not able to be made at home due to the plastic nature of it. There are similar recipes around- but the overall result would not be the same.

Hi..thanks you so much...hiw long do you bake them in the oven and how thick are the clay once baked? Thanks 🥰
@TheLittleCraftHouse2 жыл бұрын
I usually roll my pieces to about 3mm thick. I generally bake for 45-60mins
@Marjoeeddie2 жыл бұрын
Hi! Just starting to learn! I have a couple of questions: how do you reduce the clay down to the tiny square of those rolled colors? I’m so confused! Also how do you use that thickness guide? Thanks!
@TheLittleCraftHouse2 жыл бұрын
Just keep squeezing and applying pressure the the cane. It will reduce it. The thickness guide keeps the clay level -stopping your roller from rolling too thin.

It depends. I have a tile on my bench for fresh scraps- if I know I’ll use them soon- I’ll just pop them on there. Others I pop into a storage container.
