I made my mosaic a bit more difficult on myself by doing an impromptu mosaic with no real planning but so far i have had some great results building my first mosaic, of the cygnus loop no less! It’s going to end up being like 4.5 panels or something ridiculously arbitrary as i try to fit all the stars together but definitely a huge help & the learning process will make it easier for truly planned mosaics!! Thank you so much! It works incredibly well

Nice tutorial RoRo. I have done one mosaic using what was basically your method, however, the merge looked like your first time you did it and I did not know about changing the tolerance so I had to play around in PS to fix it. I am getting ready to do another mosaic hopefully with better results. Cheers

For some reason, it gives me a calibrated, registered and log folder, neither have a master light, just lots of pixinsight versions of my subs ... im following it exactly also... any advice ? thanks :)

30sec flats? How is this even possible? I need longer exposed flats for my 294mc pro but struggle to get 3sec even with my flatpanel at minimum and a few sheets of paper in between. Roan how do you do that?

I can only get 30s flats when I use my narrowband filters. They only let in ~1% of the visible light spectrum vs what you would get with your 294MC. If I use broadband or luminence filters then I'm usually sub 2 seconds even with the panel turned down to the lowest setting.

I find Astropixel processor much easier to do mosaics it does it all in one go
