I created a video in October and now I'm finally sharing it. This might be my favorite photoshoot of 2022. Everything was perfect the weather, fashion, location, model, and my enthusiasm for using the new Canon R6 Mark II. I will be publishing a review of the camera soon.

I got the R6 Mark II in December after a lot of research. I've shot as a pro for over 15 years and this camera is SO good it exceeded all my expectations and is easily the best camera in its price range! I pair it with Sigma Art 50 1.4 and it's magical (and sharper and faster focusing than the RF50 1.2, for 1/3 the price). I've never been more inspired to take photos before and I've used some of the best pro cameras made including the 1D series. I'd say the R6 Mark II is the most underrated camera (shockingly) out right now. I've not really heard much about it, yet always see videos about the much lower quality cams like the S5 II (worse AF, crippled in all the high framerate modes (even the HD modes! ack!), much worse battery, terrible rolling shutter), or the A7IV (cropped/crippled 4K60, worse battery life, arguably worse AF, worse ISO and dynamic range, terrible rolling shutter).

Thank you for the beautiful photos. Apart from the beautiful photos, I always love Irene's video because the simple fact that she shows the original RAW file looks like. It helps me to understand when I started to learn photography. It shows what you actually get in realistic world and the final image after she developed.

Great work Irene, from another fellow Canadian here. I know gear doesn't matter compared to skills and I was wondering what lens you were using then you showed it , the 28 70 2.0 and 135 1.8, darn I was just considering those, but I'll just work with my 35mm 1 8 and 85 1.2 combo for now to get more practice and hope to be 1/200th of your level. Keep up the great work and can't wait until next video
