my last amazon shpmt. vanished, so I'm going to try your method for skin cream. I am super allergic to some perfumes, additives, which I learned sampling free cosmetics as part of my work experience. Think I saw macademia product somwhere here, and just recently found out Probably not for me. It was a gift pkg. and my forearms and thighs developed the worst rash ever, weather was hot, I was driving for hours, etc....this rash lasted at least a full week ,was hidden, and caused absolutely no pain! Thanks for the ideas. I will look into this further. Well, it was a bit annoying as the damaged skin dried up, enuf said.

Hello In the event that I wanted to put (collagen powder or bleaching powder) on face beautification creams _ at what stage can I add the powder? Is after the completion of making the cream? Or boil it with distilled water? Or do I put it with melted wax or at any point exactly I want the powder to blend comfortably and perfectly with the cream mixture
@theinstituteofpersonalcare6401

You shouldn't be using bleaching powder on the face. @theinstituteofpersonalcare6401

Hi Rita, there are so many choices you could use to both preserve and thicken it, but you do need to pick wisely to suit final pH as well as aloe vera is a very nutritive material for micro-organisms. If you are planning to sell a product like this I would suggest you learn properly to suit your organisational philosophy - we can consult on this for you or provide training, please email us for more information info@personalcarescience.com.au or you can see what its like to learn with us with a FREE beginner video: kzbin.info/www/bejne/qWGsaI2pfNaIns0 this video also teaches the fundamentals of pH and is absolutely free, so please enjoy and happy formulating!

Hi Rita, there are a few types - sclerotium is great but you need more of it, it costs more and you need to allow it to hydrate overnight; there are also some other alternatives like succinoglycan, acacia, chicory, tara gum, guar gum, MCC - it depends on what product you are creating and also your budget. Hope this gives you some ideas! Happy formulating

@@maryroseanderson252 Thank you for your reply Maryrose. I will look up this video. I have another question, I used emulsifying wax instead of beeswax for my oil based cream. When it curdled I added some beeswax. Due to these 2 combinations the cream is not as slippery as it should be. What should I do to undo this? My cream has oils and aloe Vera gel and Shea butter. Thank you once again for your support. Anita

That's not a good choice, it is low HLB and won't stabilise your system. Please watch one of our other videos on creating emulsions or contact us to learn how to create your own formulas to suit your specific organisational needs, info@personalcarescience.com.au
