But alot of it is movie magic made up. But I'm not trying to away the message of the movie, and lessons, because true or not they are very important. However, they Titans wasn't the only school that was racially integrated, other schools were too, and before they even were. Also, this final game wasn't even close, Titan demolished this team.

A brilliant set up -- early on the film shows weird Californian, Ronnie "Sunshine" Bass, practicing Qi gong while girls ogle him-- this sets up the pivotal later scene when he basically practices a version of Bruce Lee's technique-- "fighting without fighting", using the tacklers own force against him.
