This is great knowledge in case of an emergency. For all the negative comments about balancing and professionalism... Would you rather stay stranded in the woods and get eaten by bears. Or man up, get it done, and get her home.. Worry about the tire shop in the morning

You often get stranded in the woods with a spare tire?😂

@@clintholmes81You do realise that tyres lose air over time just sitting there & not being used don't You? We don't change to the spare tyre every day so it is going to lose air too from not being used very often, do You check the tyre pressure in the spare tyre when you check Your other tyres too? not a lot of People think about that when they fuel up & check their tyre pressures at the servo, so what are You going to do if You're out in the middle of nowhere & You get a flat tyre & then discover that the spare tyre is almost flat too? something to think about eh instead of just laughing & making jokes about other Peoples suggestions. 🇦🇺🏴👌👏👍🏴🇦🇺

What about it ?? If you stay under 50mph there's no issue. This is a solution for someone in desperation miles away from a tyre shop e.g. in the middle of nowhere such as in Africa. Besides anyone with more than two brain cells knows you can do a static balance just using the car axle as a pivot point.

Most are now sensors, replacing it would cost another hundred or more. Newer ones have gone to a two piece sensor, but the rubber part cost from $5 to $20 each. If you are in the middle of nowhere, in rural Africa for example how would you manage??? Here he is giving you the answer with a simple rope. The tyre can always be balanced at a later stage and in fact, balancing wouldn't matter on a rural African road as there is no way they would exceed 50mph. He is not the problem, your arrogant, narrow mindedness is.
