An interesting product and a great review. That ANC and mics are ok for me too, but personally, I don't think a $160 TWS that comes with unresolved issues is a good buy (even if they are because of qualcomm), especially since there are plenty of good performing options for cheapper. But like you said, it brings innovation to the market, and that is a win for us haha Thanks for the content!

Thank you! Yeah I agree. I think they rushed this out a little to retain their competitive advantage. They have been so proactive at fixing stuff so I can't fault them from that perspective, but when you bring multiple cutting edge technologies into a product the first through the wall are always going to get a bloody nose 😭

Thanks. Sadly, the wind noise is a real dealbreaker for me. Otherwise, everything else is looking good. Good on Creative for getting the affordable ball rolling.

It was really windy to be fair, but yeah, annoying! Only the Huawei FreeBuds Pro 3 has come close to dealing with wind noise so far. Thanks for watching 🙌

@@ReganCipher Couple of things: 1) I use the Senns MTW3's as my daily and these have excellent wind reduction, plus that app really helps them attain quality listening. Have you tried them? 2) Glad to see another Brit on YT, so few of you out there! Keep up the good work.

@bluemax220 ah did you mean wind noise as in when you're listening rather than when you're calling? If so - yeah the MTW3 have that design that gives a really good seal. The passive isolation on these isn't as good, they sit back a little in the ear compared to the Sennys. And thanks! Yeah I'm from Wolverhampton but I live in Surrey - hardly any of my audience is in the UK though, I guess earbuds aren't quite as popular over here 😭

These are the top end of my budget... My priority is audio quality and I really like this form factor. Would you say they're my best bet or can you recommend anything better? Thanks

It's a good option - whether it's the best is open to debate I think. They do sound very good - if precision in terms of transient response and treble texture is really important to you, then there are few options that come near it. If you're someone who is all about bass-quality (not bass quantity) then Huawei FreeBuds Pro 2/3 and Edifier NeoBuds Pro 2 have a more appealing subwoofer-style sound. In other areas, like ANC and transparency, they are above average, although not outstanding. But if those things aren't important to you, you can do a lot worse than the Aurvana Ace 2, especially as some of the issues I complained about at the end of the review have been ironed out with firmware upgrades since

Hi there! Thanks for watching, much appreciated, and thanks for reminding me. I've added them now - here they are: H370 (the ones in the video) - s.click.aliexpress.com/e/_DFgyhRL H370+ (newer version, not tested yet) - s.click.aliexpress.com/e/_Dek6sTr

The oval shape of the ear tips make the passive isolation not great for me, the volumes a little lower too- otherwise they’re super comfortable and sound great, I can see myself going to them in quiet environments like at home or if I’m wanting good awareness- secure fit too
@ReganCipher7 ай бұрын
You're right, the tips are so bad. I switched them out for the Feaulle latex tips and everything sorted itself out. Such a shame they skimped on something so trivial. I read a few complains about the volume so it's definitely not just you Fine for me here on my Sony Xperia 1 IV though. Thanks for watching and commenting, much appreciated 👍

Thank you mate for another detailed reiew! I really appreciate your dedication and hard work but i am still confuse about xMEMS technology. How is it different in term of sound quality? I think you should make a detailed video on Earbuds Driver which one is best and also please add sound sample too in every review. I hope you consider my request Thanks :)
@ReganCipher7 ай бұрын
Thanks man, appreciate it! I did do a brief explanation on xMEMS but cut it out as the video was just too long, but basically the material used in the drivers is a more taut silicone, which means you're going to get a more accurate representation of the higher and mid range frequencies. The transient response is probably the biggest benefit - i.e. changes in sound will be cleaner and more precise. And it's subtle but you can definitely hear it. I thought about doing a video on drivers that I could reference viewers back to, but in all honesty I don't think I know enough about it yet, and partly because tuning is still probably the most important thing when it comes to sound. XMEMS is probably different to something like the difference between BA and DD, for example, because a good DD can trounce a bad BA, and vice versa. But I'll definitely think more about it especially as more innovation happens. Regarding the sound tests, at the moment I can only do them with headphones. I would have to build a custom setup to be able to record in-ear with my binaural mics. It's not impossible, but it's time consuming and will cost another load of money, and all I get from KZbin is around £30 pm in ad revenue so I'll have to fund it myself. But I am already looking into how to do it in the most cost effective way 🙏 And thanks so much for the feedback and suggestions! I hope I can deliver on those expectations soon 👍
