Which is better in terms of noise cancellation and microphone quality in particular Anker Liberty 4 NC or Nothing ear a? Because I spoke to someone wearing both, I noticed an intermittent and noticeable deterioration in the sound quality of Anker Liberty 4 NC in all noise cancellation modes. Note he was use IPhone and its IOS Doesn't support LDAC.

There is definitely an EQ shift when you use ANC or transparency compared to ANC off. I haven't tried the Nothing (A) yet as it wasn't released when I filmed this, but I will be doing a Part 2 including the Nothing Ear A, Redmi 5 Pro, Earfun Air Pro 4 and some others as soon as I get them 👍

Sorry, this is a very old review - I don't have this model any more unfortunately. You can see the frequency response charts here - regancipher.squig.link/?share=Creative_Outlier_Pro,QCY_HT07 - basically, the HT07 has a punchier bass and female vocals are more forward

So, between liberty 4nc (101$), oppo x2(120$ LMFAO), jbl live pro 2(100$), the realme air 6 pro is currently the best one right?

Hi great review and comparison between these two. How would you compare the Realme Buds Air 6 pro with Soundcore's Liberty 4? In my location, Liberty 4 is about 10$ more than the Realme one. Which one do you think would be worth buying?
@ReganCipher3 күн бұрын
Thank you! I compared the Buds Air 5 Pro and L4NC in this video - kzbin.info/www/bejne/pHKbhK14qNyKa9k - since the differences between the 5 and 6 are very little, that covers it pretty much. You can judge for yourself from the samples etc but IMO the L4NC has quite a bit stronger ANC and slightly more customisation in the app, but the Realme sound better, have better transparency mode and are better on calls. They are also a bit more stable fitting. So overall I prefer the Realme, just depends if you need that extra strong ANC as that's the only thing where the Soundcore are definitely better 👍
@MABatin3 күн бұрын

I've been in touch with Earfun about it and they've been great to be fair - the Air Pro 4 is coming quite soon so hang on for those if anything 👍

Thanks for the great review - super helpful. You mentioned that the new shape relieves pressure on the tragus. Does it still press the tragus somewhat or does it avoid contact altogether?
@ReganCipher2 сағат бұрын
Thank you, and apologies for the delayed response. It looks like they hover just away from the tragus and I certainly don't feel them touching them. That area of my ear is quite sensitive so it would be an absolute deal breaker if they did! Worth pointing out through, that they did touch if I moved my head 90 degrees - sounds kinda obvious but some stay very firmly in place even in those situations, but the OpenFit Air don't. I guess only really relevant if you're using them for pilates or yoga, something like that. Thanks again!

Thanks! On these budget sets, I don't really hear the difference with LDAC. If you have a big library of FLAC files and listen to them a lot at home, maybe there's some mileage in it, but for the average user even with Tidal Masters AAC is almost certainly going to be good enough

Why is no one comparing cheap TWS to Sony's and Apple's.. ??
@ReganCipher10 күн бұрын
It's purely down to cost and priority. I spend a lot of my own money on earbuds that people ask for in the comments already, and whilst I agree a comparison with Apple or Sony might be useful, the indication I've had from viewers is they'd prefer comparisons between options they can afford, so they can decide what to buy. I had the XM3, and even that older model destroyed the budget set with the strongest ANC, the Liberty 4 NC.
@KahnJsu9 күн бұрын
@@ReganCipherin term of what 4NC lose to xm3? Sound quality? ANC? Mic? Battery? Or 4NC lose all of that compare to xm3?
@ReganCipher9 күн бұрын
@@KahnJsu just ANC. It's the one thing the cheaper brands just can't come close to Sony and Bose on. For calls, Sony isn't even that great. Huawei FreeBuds Pro 3 are the best around for that. For sound, there's a difference, but it's not as big as the price tag. Sony and Technics suffer much less with distortion than the cheaper brands. The better budget products have started to get the tuning right now, and a well-tuned set with average ANC, average call quality and decent battery life at $100 is gonna make more sense for many people than a $300 set with slightly better sound and drastically better ANC. At least that's how I see it anyway
@KahnJsu9 күн бұрын
@@ReganCipherah i see just anc difference. Can you help me , recommend tws under 100 usd or maybe close to 110 usd? ANC is not my priority, if there any ANC it's good to have Sound quality and mic is my priority, battery at least 6 hour
@ReganCipher9 күн бұрын
@KahnJsu not necessarily just ANC difference. The likes of Sony and Samsung design their earbuds from scratch and have a tight supply chain for components. The smaller budget manufacturers tend to use off the shelf components based on a specification and therefore have less control over the final result and possibly more bugs that they can't fix (Soundpeats for example had a bug with the left bud losing pairing from the right). If you check my 'best under $100' video you'll see my best picks. There's binaural samples, so you can hear what each of them sound like and determine which matches your idea of sound quality the most. My personal favourites for sound quality alone are Samsung Galaxy Buds FE, Edifier NeoBuds Pro 2 and Oppo Enco X2. Oppo are releasing Enco X3 soon though, so maybe wait for that if it's a big purchase? But like I say, listen to the binaural samples and decide what works for you because everyone's idea of good sound is different 👍

Hello again! I just bought the Haylou S30 (Pro) and it's one if the best decisions I've made thanks to your video! The sound quality is great as compared to the headphones I've tried before in the same price range. I can't say much for the ANC tho since I think there's not much of a difference when it's switched on 😅 but it's not that a big deal for me since I'm after the sound quality. For the headphones' build, it's sturdy but feels delicate at the same time maybe because the hinges are so smooth and flexible. Because of its flexibility, it's so easy to fit on my head and ears. Also the ear foams are SOOOOOOOO SOFT which is definitely a plus, so comfy!! I love how it fits/covers all my ears and not just hangs on it. It's worth my money, also bought in on sale, saved me some money instead of buying the JBL one. Again, I'm glad I stumbled upon your video since the binaural tests really convinced me to buy it. It's so hard to find videos that does binaural tests haha. (I hope you can do a test on the JBL710 too since I'm really curious on how it sounds. 😆) Thank you again, fr the Philippines!! 🫶🏼😃
