This song is very important to me. I come back twice or so a year, just whenever it pops in my mind. weather I remember the meaning off the top of my head or not though it never fails to come to me when I need it most. Many things have happened to me and many things will continue to however no matter how much i change and grow this song has and most likely always will follow me. I wish the best for the creator. Who else came back here after hearing he quit? I know I did, now this song makes much more sense. He was hurting, he was questioning if this was something he wanted to do, and he questioned who his real friends were. And in the end, he gave up. I'm not gonna tell him "good luck" or "I support you in your future endeavors", because that's not what he wants to hear. Instead, I'll say that we never saw you as a mask, we saw you as *you.* A great and talented person capable of amazing things. First time I watched this but James’s art style is something I can recognize anywhere and his old crossover animations will always hold a small little place in my heart (even if some of the things he did where straight up not okay) This is very sweet. Watching this five years later and I still adore this animation, and really relate to James's (I think that's who that is) story in the video. This man is one of the people that MADE ME APPRECIATE AND LOVE ART/ANIMATION AND MADE ME WANT TO BE WHO I AM TODAY. I remember back around 2013, I was just a kid looking happy looking at good videos on my iPad, and I stumbled upon watching 'Seniors' for the first time. I've watched his content more than ever since. He never failed to put a smile on my face and I would never miss an upload from him. He is one of the people whose content felt like a great escape from reality for me. Someone like me isn't perfect. I've made many mistakes and have always felt like an outcast from everybody else growing up. Drawing and appreciating animation helped me through those tough times. I never had any close friends or anybody who I can really talk to who can truly understand my true feelings. I felt like in real life, I've been sitting in a corner where I'm just too damn afraid to let people understand me at all. Hell, even to this day I still somehow feel like an outcast, even when I tried to avoid it, I can still feel the negativity I had when I made those mistakes as a different person. When I found out that James' had these 'problems', I was shocked. But I wasn't upset because I always remember one thing, we are all human. We all have emotions, we all make mistakes, and we all grow as people. And I'm someone that has been there. Someone who made mistakes and still feels regret, but is trying his very best to try and grow and improve himself. As I'm now a young adult, I'm trying my very best to push myself to become better and be a great artist/creator not just for entertainment, but also for happiness. Watching this animation shows me that in our darkest moments, we need to know that life isn't perfect and humans aren't, but if we decided not to push forward, then it's hopeless. Now, I'm someone who is trying to create content as an artist while also trying to battle college and procrastination but always make these lies telling myself I can still do it after I finish this, then not get a chance to do it at all. But it won't happen if I keep letting time pass. The time is now. It's about a time when I make the decisions and become better for the future. I want to be able to find happiness in what I love doing as an artist, to truly show my passion, commitment, and motivation to heal my emotional scars of self-doubt and self-disappointment. James, if you're out there, I hope you're doing great man. I know you might not be able to see this comment anytime soon, but I just want to say that you give me joy and purpose growing up. You're one of the people that helped me enjoy what I love about cartoons to this day. I love you, man (no homo). I hope you're doing good. Thank you for helping inspire me for what I love, appreciate, and want to do in my career. I'll never forget the legacy you brought on to young creators like me.

I love coming back to creative types. It takes me back to who I was seven years ago when it came out- I was at my lowest. I was 15 in an abusive household and felt like I had no control over my life. I struggled with depression and suicidal thoughts and honestly just with finding my place in the world and as an artist, and having gotten through the rough patches, it’s a bittersweet feeling hearing this song again. This was a message I so desperately needed when I was a kid, and even though I know you’re no longer on this account, James, I hope you know that I’m so thankful to you for giving a hand to help pull me up when I didn’t even think I deserved it. Now I’m 22 and, honestly, am doing better than I ever imagined I would or could. I wrote in a journal when I was 15 or 16 like a literal essay about how creative types was my favorite song because it helped me feel hopeful for the future and that it helped articulate feelings I struggled to put into words. I think it’s silly that I even did that, but it was for sure an outlet for me. :) Thank you, James! And to all my friends who have made it this far since then- congratulations. Hi James, I don’t know if you’ll ever read this but I wanted you to know that despite the discontinuation of your channel for reasons I fully support (I hope you experience the growth and self love you deserve as a result of your decision btw), I still go back and watch this video every now and then because it reminds me that despite how sad I was 4 years ago when it was created, I was never truly alone and there were incredible people and incredible content like this out there who were there to help me through that time.
