Yea and what’s wrong with that? When the seed sprouts, that’s like a toddler mango seed. When it’s 6 inches, that’s like teen mango seed. When it starts to look like a tree, that’s the ‘adult mango tree’

Just a reminder mango trees can grow up to 40 feet and take about 5 years to fully grow and only after they are fully grown in size that they provide mangoes

Mango are tropical, sub-tropical plants. They are also, bi-annual. One year they will grow lots of juicy fruit and the next year, they'll grow very little green, hard fruit. They will not grow in the north unless, you have the proper humidity and warmth by growing them in a hot house or, something of the like.
@The-Spanish-Inquisition490
@The-Spanish-Inquisition490 Ай бұрын
+ you need to have the right weather conditions with lots of humidity other wise it will just die before it even resembles a tree. Basicly you have a mango plant for a week nothing more.

Warning, for those who have no idea, do not plant mango tree directly on the floor if you're living in multi level building. It can grow very big and the roots can tear through concrete damaging structural integrity. Heck even at a landed property, the roots went under the irrigation ditch and somehow make a bump on my car porch floor

No, i didnt know that if i grab a mango from the store, cut all the fruit off until im left with the husk, then snip one end of it with a knife, then use a sharp knife to create a little slid in the middle, grab a butter knife and carefully pry it open, inside of it i will find a baby mango seed, soak the seed in a bowl of water for 1 hour, grab a pot with soil, grab the seed and plant it the side where it curves, leave the top exposed, water it, cover it with a bottle or a bag for humidity, pretty soon it will start to sprout, and when it grows to at least 6 inches long, plant it in a bigger pot and grow a mango tree 🤟

My house has one of the most delicious mango tree variety that money can buy. Simply put... some mangoes should be planted from a seed at home, some shouldn't. Reason 1: Sex of plant matters. I don’t wanna give a biology class, so let's just say that somebody's gotta fertilise the flower. So, save urself the misery & trials by buying the right mini tree. Reason 2: ... Those farmers know that you can't do proper pest control. So, the mini trees you buy will be more resistant to pests than the plant you grow from a seed. From a bored daughter waiting for a mango from a mango tree that's either barely alive or barely surviving (from pests). My mom's hobby: *Attempting* to get any benefits out of the tree.

@briannab5296

You are closer to the truth than you realize. My late husband had gallbladder cancer and after surgery to remove it the doctor said it had an 80% chance of returning. Due to my husband's old age & being rail thin, they couldn't use radiation on him. He developed a raging hunger for fruits (he was normally a meat & potatoes kinda guy). He would send me to the peach growers to get an entire box full of peaches and he would sit & gorge on those peaches, within two days they were gone. When we went grocery shopping he would load the cart with every fruit available. He was just constantly gorging on fruit the way a fat kid does with cake. 😂 It must have been his body letting him know that it knew what it needed because his cancer never came back, while he lived a full & active happy life for twelve more years before emphysema took him.

Mango trees get pretty large. Also they a while to mature, but I mean, no time like the present. Once it gets to a certain size it’s self sufficient so not too bad. Banan trees are probably some of the easiest to grow. When I lived in Puerto Rico we had one and sometimes we just forgot to harvest the bananas so some of the animals would eat some, and some would just fall on the ground and they would just grown another tree all by themselves and thanks to the climate over there they grow crab fast. We started with one and ended with 5-6. Had to start giving the fruit away.

My grandpa grew a mango tree in our backyard in 2012. He died the next year in 2013. And then finally after 9 long years, our first batch of Mangoes grew on that tree in 2021. We were sooo happy seeing and eating those mangoes. They were some of the best and yummiest mangoes we had. And in 2022 we had to change our home. We bought a new home. The only thing that we all still miss about that home was that mango tree❤ it still grows Mangoes. The new home owners are now enjoying my grandpa's mangoes.❤

We have more than 6 mango trees at home. 4 varieties. After eating the fruits we just throw the seeds in the ground, then new plants sprout from the seeds. If we wanna keep them, we let them. But if not, then we pluck them off the ground 😅

For those who don't know how big mango trees are, don't try this at a apartment, do it only if you have a BIG piece of land

"Like many fruiting trees, mango trees can take quite some time to produce fruit. When started from seed, mango trees can take up to 10 years (or longer) until they are mature enough to produce edible fruit." yeah bro, cool video

Mango trees are *massive* . You can't expect them to grow from your apartment nor the rooftop. Trust me, we had a mango tree in our yard and it was nearly as tall as our house before we cut down the big branches.

Mango trees tend to be MASSIVE, so you must have a big yard and patience to clean the amount of Mangoes growing each year, I had 2 mango trees in my house in Mexico and cleaning after them was very annoying haha
