In other words, to protect the pump in the absence of water. (empty tank). Thank you very much. When the tank runs out of water, the pump will not activate by asking for water (pump protection).

Great point! Greetings from India. We do have level controllers that detect dry run of the pump; that is, after several seconds of start up of pump, if there is no water flow at the outlet, there would be an alarm and the motor is turned off. We then have to manually inspect and resolve the issue. We could add more sensing too - motor temperature, abnormally long run (due to water being continually emptied) etc.!

Ofcourse .... Connect the motor to the normally closed pin of the relay. Thus when the tank is full the pump will start working... When the water level drops below the threshold level it stops

How can I make this for one way with a sensor or a switch? Maybe you can help me with what I'm looking for. I'm buying a 129v electric water dispenser. However it doesn't come with and automatic shut off valve. I am hoping to find something automatic that has an automatic switch or sensor that will allow the water to pump and stop. Kind of like how alarm system sensors or a type of toggle that when something is moved or a door is opened it activates. I hope I'm clear... Would you happen to know what I could buy that would do that that I could connect to the water dispenser and have it automatically activate and deactivate? I'm open to suggestions. Also must be a very small application that I can mount to a wall or pole or rod... Thank you and anyone who can help.

You just demonstrated your skills without showing exactly how did you wire the 555 timer. The diagram doesn't show how the pins are connected and the numbering you used are misleading. Correct me if I'm wrong.

When 12v supply going to tank than it is drop because water pipe is grounded so use flot switch other wise your time & money waste .i also used but these circuit are failure at 20, 30 feet.

Naked of two wire +12 v and pin 2 should be closer.. In tank You can all +12 wire( in water of tank) should be naked.. And use very small wire for pulse..
