I think what I like most about this is it doesn't have high rate spinning fans like those hologram led fans. I don't want to lose a finger because I want a cool hologram. Im going to give this a shot using my tablet and maybe 3d print a box if i like the effect. looks cool in the picture, thanks.

Anyone watching this leave the transparent material alone! Use a black DVD case or anything black that can reflect your image. It works even better and even in the brightest lighting. Im currently sitting beside a huge window and its working so well!

It's just a piece of plastic, you need something like a photocromic sheet for protection against UV light I believe.
