Just a heads-up. My Joann’s had the Big Twist Gentle yarn on clearance as well but in a beautiful shade of blush. It was so soft! I checked the price on my cell phone and it was less than was posted. Joann’s gave me the lower price!!!

Something I noticed when watching this again that I thought you and others will want to know when looking for this yarn, from counting the skeins on the racks it looked like there were 15 colour ways available, but I remember Mikey saying that there were 22 in the range and I think it says that on the website as well, so you should ask to see if they're going to have the rest available at any stage??

Hi Creativei Grandma. I enjoy your channel. How many squares does one skein of yarn make? Does it say on the skein? The reason the flower power yarn is in English and French, is because the company that makes Yarnspirations Yarn is headquartered in Ontario, Canada and we are bilingual here. We speak French and English.

Alot of pretty colors - but I think, which is hard to tell without seeing your swatches, would be the "Forget-Me-Not", "Marigold", "Flower Field", "Cherry Blossom", and "Wisteria"! Hello Pam and Cody 🎉 thank you for showing us the Flower Power yarns! To me it seems that they made a lot of skeins to compliment each other. They would work well together in case a lot of people have an issue with the gauge working for the pattern and decide to make a totally different pattern.

As your grandson said, "If you have the right gauge". I have tried the Granny Square yarn, and I have not been able to get the correct gauge. So I got 3 skeins of it, and I think I will return the 2 I have not used. I don't know what I will do with the one, I guess just crochet as I would any variagated yarn. Granny stitch is probably my favorite stitch. I love to find a great variegated yarn and just granny stitch until it’s the size I want. 12-18 inches squared makes a great baby lovey. I want to learn how to make a granny square rectangle. I never knew it was possible before I found your channel. I have some granny square yarn but I don’t think my gauge is perfect enough. And now I want to learn this square too! So much to crochet and so little time!

I’ve seen a few videos on the flower power yarn. It seems so much better than the granny square one. Nobody had any issues. I may give it a try. 50 plus years ago the granny squares was the first thing I learned. I know I made a bunch of them who knows what happened to them. I think the flower power rose yarn is representing wild yellow roses. We have had them in our backyard my entire life. The yarns are interesting, but I would like to see them worked up as well as how difficult it is to maintain the correct tension so the squares work out correctly. Thank you for the video.

Personally, I can't wait to try the flower power. The granny square worked up just fine for me. My first thought when I saw flower power was to put the 2 together as well. 😊 It's more forgiving, from what I've seen as well.

I didn't care for the color combos of the Flower Power that I'd seen so far on YT, but your store has some GREAT colors! The label is in French so that it can also be sold in Canada, otherwise they'd have to print separate labels for the Canadian market. Have a great day. 🐞
