Hi, I hope you can help me. All I want to do is paint. I have no interest or desire on the business end. I'm not a seller. What I need is someone to do all that for me. Before all this online business thing took of an artist had an agent who took care of all that. I make big one off original paintings. That's what I'm good at. Can you point me in the right direction. I'm not on any social media. I think it's bad. I watch you tube for advice. Such as yourself. That's it.

As a startup I invest quit a bit back into my business, about 50%, sometimes more. I had a good spout of sales for 2 days and I took about 40% to invest in things like a desktop monitor stand for my laptop and a custom made "FRAGILE" stamp for my shipping boxes, etc. I try to limit myself to ~50% investment so I have money left over for life.

I really need the how, detailed step by step how. I’m so overwhelmed with the what and the why. Beyond frustrated knowing actually what to actually do. Started a year ago and yet to actually start solidly cos brain filled with all the whats but no hows! Hard to find a course that covers business of teaching, kits, patterns, supplies, subscriptions, memberships…… rather than handmade products. So. Frustrated. That each day goes by and I don’t ACTUALLY know what to do - well I generally know what things I need to do, but not how to do them!!! I sit and freeze allll day every day. Brain always in big picture mode. I think I need others to do all the things! I just want to design and dream up all the things… I have no idea. 30 years of reading, listening and watching business stuff and I still have nooo clue. Because no actual implementation, best learning from experience clearly. Still, would be amazing to actually have a step by step and checklist and guide of some kind on best practise for the things I want to do. My autistic brain needs these things or the endless possibilities and/or complete unknown just paralyses me! Haaaallllp meeee I’m going craaaaazeeeee! Lol A year since I set up and lots of expenses but very little random revenue from a few random things like masks and custom personalised stuff. Cant scale that kind of work! I’m in burnout all the time as it is just from being on the spectrum! Hallp! Lol! (I also need sleep right now haha.)

@@CreativeHiveCo at this point in time it pains me to admit that I really can’t afford it. I’ve though about getting a loan but I know that it would be smart. I understand that completely. If you are feeling burned out, it might be a good time to take a small vacation from your business and see how you feel. Hello Mei, I would need your advice; I started a small jewelry business 3 months ago now on Etsy but I still haven't had 0 orders (except one from my cousins ...) My problem is that I don't know how to make it known since I do not have the opportunity to use social medias such as instagram tiktok etc. I can just use facebook, youtube & pinterest. I paid the facebook sponsorship and had about 2000 views and 800 interactions but of course, no orders. But I often have people who put my necklaces in favorites (among 1000 of theirs others favorites lol), but no more. I am seriously starting to believe that I have no other way and that I should give up. Do you have any advice for me?

Hi Mimita! It really depends on so many things - where you are selling, how you are promoting, if your pricing is accurate, if you are targeting the right audience. There are a wide variety of factors, but I wouldn't be discouraged if it's not immediate.
