Can u please advise on how to get the epoxy to work correctly for me? I'm using 1 to 1 ratio. I'm doing epoxy in 76° - 80° weather. My epoxy always seems to have the fisheye look to it. Then the whole cup is ruined :(
@RebeccaEscott2 жыл бұрын
Yes, it could be that you’re using to little epoxy for the tumbler or to much heat when using a touch to pop bubbles. Practice on a cup that has the fisheyes and apply another coat of epoxy for example; if I’m going to epoxy on a 20oz I won’t mix anything less then 25ML total to cover the entire cup. Let me know if applying more epoxy then normal works okay bc your temp is within normal range. ❤️ I hope this was helpful.
@Hudsongames20164 жыл бұрын
I know this is old. Some tips on crackling. If you want bigger crackle use a heavier coat. Smaller crackles use thinner coat. If you over dry try a light mist, very light of water. Learned this over tears of woodwork.

Made a couple wood peekaboo's for the boys at work but haven't ventured into glitter yet. But I think I'm brave enough to try. Question....is it better to use resin or the Mode Podge stuff for your first layer of glitter? Some do and some don't. Thank You for your time!!
@RebeccaEscott2 жыл бұрын
@@sharkcrooner Oh I think this is fantastic, you should check out my group Everything Tumbler Tutorials it’s super helpful! Also I use spray paint as my glitter adhesive bc it’s so easy and not so messy, use the closet color spray paint to the glitter In which you’re using that’s very helpful also if you need a 2nd coat of glitter just spray seal clear seal from Rustoleum and reapply your glitter BUT you must seal with clear seal again to lock in that glitter once dry then you can epoxy. If you don’t prefer that you can use either method to apply your glitter, it boils down to personal preference. Let me know if there is anything else I can help you with.
