How To Make Sound Activated Multicolor LED Lights Without Power

There's no way the audio signal is going to provide the voltage needed to power all those LEDs, especially the blue and green ones. And before anyone says it's coming from the capacitors that get charged up by the audio signal, that's total b.s. since capacitors used in audio circuits are what's referred to as analog band pass filters because they block different amounts and frequencies of the audio signal, depending on their size. The only way those LEDs will emit any light is if they're connected to an external power source that's controlled by the auido signal through at least 1 transistor or IC chip.

my thought is if you get 470 resistors with 10% tolerance you’re bound to find a few that are 460… just have to measure each one individually, though im not sure if a 10 ohm difference would really change much

Without them you won’t have that fancy effect of LEDs lighting up in sequence.
