Imagine you make this printer, then from this printer you print out the parts for a bigger printer, then from that you print parts for a bigger printer until you can print like a 1 meter wide project. That's innovation. Anything done by your self is the best cause you know its all your effort and hey, CUSTAMIZATION POSSIBILITIES ARE ENDLESS!!!:p Edit = thanks for providing links to stores in india mate, really appreciate it. :)

this is the best of the DIY mini printers since it has larger XY- space (z is not so important. But i think this can be done with one motor on the Y axis . (when you change the geometry, i mean 3-4 bushings instead of 2 , and the driving motor in the middle) If you are missing some parts, here some ideas: The Steppermotors can be fount in defective printers. Belts+Pulley can be found in Scanners. Couplers can be made from hose or shrinktubing and the 8mm rod could be realised with a 8mm metric rod + nut instead
@hamzajamal56613 жыл бұрын
Hi, I think printers use normal DC motors instead of stepper motors. And yes a single motor on the y axis could be a really good idea.
@vinayakonimani76282 жыл бұрын
@@hamzajamal5661 stepper motors are used to immediately change directions, which happens specially when u are printing something like a circle. Normal dc motors may run at their max rpm and switching directions is hard here. Although you can convert a stepper to dc motor and vice versa, its a pain.

This certainly some kind of marlin firmware according to the structure of the printer. It's an opensource code, you can find it on the internet very easily ;)

that method of "leveling" the bed is a bad method. Unless the table is level, it's better to tram the print bed :|

How would you reccomend leveling it?
