Although they might have added MORE to the show to make it a DCU show, it was NOT intended as a DCU show. Rather, it’s it’s OWN thing that he somehow fit into the DCU at the last minute when he got the job. The REAL beginning will be SUPERMAN (2025).

The only competing energy is from the fans. Frank Grillo needs to get over it. Crossbones isnt iron man or even Zemo for that matter in the comics. He was signed to do a specific character that isnt big even in the comics. Crossbones has always been a high teir henchmen, but still just a henchmen. I like His character in creature commando's so far and it may feel bigger to him than his marvel role because in a short period of time he is being used in multiple projects (the first three launch ones at that) but that doesnt mean long term that character plays a huge role. Or maybe he does. Time will tell. Doesnt mean that every character they showcase in a movie will have long term employment with DC. You dont see Sean Gunn jumping to add his thoughts on Marvel to Grillo's. Its embarrassing honestly and you can tell the other actors at the table were thrown off by him going off about his marvel work. He comes across as the guy in a group who WANTS or THINKS he is the leader among a group but in reality he is just the loudest.
