There’s a shirt at comic con that shows the commandos and she says that she doesn’t know how to kill someone, seems like she’s forced into this by Waller because she appears to be a monster. I like how they do a sneaky callback to SS and peacemaker s1 ending by addressing the banning of prisoners being used fr such operations. But they do it in a way that doesn't really require you to have seen those projects. Pretty self explanatory and I'm sure they'll go into some more depth in explaining in the movie.

Also in regard to peacemaker season 2, do you think that it might be rebranded as its own show? Like instead of it being Peacemaker season two they could call it like “Oh F*ck, It’s…PEACEMAKER.” Obviously us nerds understand that season one exists sort of like secondary media-like the Star Wars eu-where it’s cannon until it contradicts something in primary media, but for general audiences I’m wondering if maybe rebranding season 2 as its own show could be a good idea…

With this show and other stories in the new dcu being semi-connected to the suicide squad and peacemaker s1. I think I'll make a fan edit of those 2 and remove all dceu references (i.e. justice league, the first suicide squad, etc) and effectively serve as the start of the dcu for my viewing experience. Me and my dad (70 years old) love to watch movies and shows together. He is a big marvel fan, particularly because of punisher and daredevil on netflix, but he has seen everything mcu related. I made my own cut of TASM 2 and I personally believe my cut makes the overall movie multitudes better, like removing sequel bait scenes that led nowhere, deleted the plane crash scene and now opens as hes diving, I added in alternate and deleted scenes. And cut out all of Max's cringe moments, etc (lmk if you'd be interested in watching it) But one thing he's never latched onto was the dceu. He's seen man of steel, bvs, and Zach's JL. But he legit forgot he even watched them lol. He loves Guardians and is looking forward to the James gunn dcu, so this fan edit will also make it easier for my dad to understand what is considered canon

I was pretty excited for Creatur Commandos, but after seeing the trailer, it's just another Suicide Squad. 😕 its looks okay but not what i had imagined tbh. I have no knowledge of the Creature Commandos comics so i assume this is similar right?

@@MrTrip666 I mean the suicide squad wasn’t just that. They were a task force specifically used to takedown large threats to the US government. And that showed in the different team members, bloodsport was introduced as the guy who almost killed Superman with a kryptonite bullet. Creature commandos, we don’t know anything about them except for that they’re freaks. If I were to make some assumptions about the characters, it would be that they’d be in charge of doing much more secretive operations because Waller just got banned from using humans, meaning that this new team might also be needing to blend in a little more. Yes it is probably a “replacement” of sorts for the suicide squad since that the team most likely got disbanded with this new no human rule but they would probably have to do things much differently which can differentiate it a lot from the suicide squad. All I’m trying to say is that maybe don’t disappoint the show for yourself until the full trailer comes out at the very least. Who knows, maybe it’s completely different from what you imagined, or maybe you’re right and it’s repetitive, but the teaser isn’t alone enough to make a judgement.
