My limits always get cut. I clear like $1k to bring them down and they lower my dang limit by $1k and I only have $3k limit to begin with. Maddens me!!!! Happened twice now in the last two years. WTH. They don’t want your usage to be more than 30% but then when you bring it down they cut your limit … back asswards. Can’t get a PLOC without a co-signer. Feeling stuck.

I have been regularly chunking to my Discover card ( anywhere from 500 to 1000) at a time. My goal is $2300 a month if the stars align :) Discover actually increased my limit from 11500 to 14500. I'm still at a fairly high % to my limit (our rental property needed a new range and an oil fill up :/) but I'm not worried. Just need to stay consistent.

When a credit card issuer raises your credit limit without asking, it means you're using the credit card exactly how they want you to. Congratulations.

Yes. A lot of people will cringe or not feel comfortable doing that. But all you're doing is creating your own safety net at only 2 percent interest.

I've done 2 Alaskan cruises. They are awesome! The weather is not bad, depending on what month you go. My last Alaskan ceuise was in late june of 2019, and the temperature was in the high 70's - low 80's.

Do you have a video about using a ploc that does not have a card/checkbook with it. I can only electronically transfer into and out of it through my bank app or go to the bank and tell them what I want. They don't think they can setup automatic payments. I think I can keep my bills coming out of my checking account and move money from the ploc to cover it? Then move income from checking to the ploc on payday?

I placed a large chunk on a cc and they cut my limit in half. It was a Citi card. Went from 8k to 4k limit the moment I went under 4k.

We have been warning everyone to do micro payments so they wouldn't cut ones credit limit. Call them and ask them why they cut your credit limit and if they could restore your credit limit. Have a great day.

It's very affordable and very easy to get. Otherwise, a lot of funeral homes have ways to help pay for funerals if planned in advance.

Question: After the first month, you assigned $1,000 to Citi. Would that not have satisfied the payment for that month? Would the payment for the Citi card not reduce the expenses (for at least that month) by the Citi payment of $476? increasing the cashflow that month by that much? Or would it be used to still pay the Citi card and bring it down?

Wait 6 months but get your credit together. Attack the balances on your credit products and pay minimum payment on all loan products. This should make you appear better for approval.

Is there a way to get closed accounts or credit cards off my credit score? For example I have 11 closed accounts and 3 open. There's stuff on there from 2006 and is showing on my credit report that it "needs work"

You actually, need to open and positively manage MORE credit cards.. The most recent ones, with higher limits, than the closed ones, will greatly help you
