I enjoy my bottle of Aventus. I don’t pay attention to the batches or the polarizing attention it gets. I hear that Aventus is too replicated at this point but where I live hardly anyone wears fragrances so it’s still unique and gets decent attention.

To me Aventus has one of the most beautiful openings that I have ever smell, like Eau Sauvage, Fahrenheit, Jovoy Psyquedelique, MAB Ganymede, Tuscan Leather, ELDO You or Someone Like You, HOO Cypress Shade, Amoroud Wet Stone, Roja Elysium, FM Promise, Aventus is in my top list of my favorite fragrance openings of all time, I really don't care about the batches or the performance, it's definitely not my favorite scent, but the opening to me it's pure magic, it smells like success. I bought it! Main reason I got it is because I don’t already own Aventus, I much prefer bottles that aren’t transparent (I hate worrying about light getting to the juice), and I am excited about the resale value as well.

I love Aventus had 4 bottles in the last 8 years. First 2 amazing. The 3’rd terrible my 4’th not bad. Love the earlier smokey batches which were longer lasting. Hope that’s returned to this batch. My pre 2015 bottles are the best fragrances I’ve had

If you miss that smokiness from Creed I recommend trying out Parfumes Vintage Beyond Noir Their whole pineapple vintage line is a clone to aventus But the beyond noir has that perfect smokey top note I actually find the pineapple better in Pineapple vintage And the projection/sillage lasts longer than Creed The dry down is about the same for me on both cologne houses

@@Riri-oj1zs maybe not to some of the old batches of Creed But the pineapple vintage line blows away a lot of the newer Creed batches The new Creed batches have almost a synthetic pineapple opening note to it and the longevity is much shorter The old batches I used to get 10 plus hours with the new ones it's closer to 6 hours on my skin

Hello Max! I love your content and we seem to have similar taste. I finally got my first bottle of Aventus a few days ago and it consistently lasts until the next day surviving showers. I’ve had decants of it over the years and they all seem pretty consistent on me.

I would have to agree with many here, i dont think its worth $450. I´m a collector but i find it just insane to pay that amount for 100ml. CDNI Limited Edition is a very good clone, one in my opinion worthy to own. Great Video Max. Cheers!

I bought this because I’ve only had Aventus clones, I prefer bottles that aren’t transparent (no worries about light ruining the juice), and I’m excited about the resale value 🤷‍♂️ The people hating on it likely already own Aventus. A 10th Anniversary edition of a fragrance should not be any different than the fragrance that the anniversary is celebrating.... if it was different, that wouldn’t even be a celebration of Aventus.

The best aventus clone is parfum vintage pineapple vintage line Especially their beyond noir ,it has that pleasant smokiness that the new batches of aventus are missing

I've tested it and compared it to my other 2018 batches of Aventus. There are subtle differences, not too different though. The biggest difference to my nose is the smoother nature in the opening of the 10th Anniversary. The original has a stingy, almost garlicy vibe in the opening that I never picked up until I compared them side by side. It doesn't stay around long and it may just be the difference between a 2 year old fragrance and a brand new one. I will say, the performance of the 10th Anniversary is better than my 2018 batches...I really want a bottle, I'm just teetering on the edge of pulling the trigger on that STEEP price tag. Can't decide

First 10 minutes 10th Anniversary smells so much more than regular Acentus. 10th Anniversary Aventus opens up so fruity and flowery then after 10 min it smells the same as regular Aventus. 10th Anniversary got 23 notes and a regular Aventus 12 ;)

Very well done video! This scent unfortunately is way too expensive for our budget. I love watching your videos on any fragrance though. I have a video idea for you. I know you tend to do men's fragrances. What about reviewing both the masculine and feminine versions of certain scents in one video? For example Armani Code for men and Armani code for women?

What is difference between the broad shouldered bottle and the sloped shoulder bottles of aventus that we see? Is it due to release dates ?

Broad shoulder bottle is 120ml and the sloped down shoulder bottle is 100ml

I am a nascent fragophile. A couple of years ago, when I was entertaining a few hobbies, scents piqued my interest. My first two decants were YSL Trench (great iris) and Amouage Portrayal Man (which I love - it is in constant flux). Not terribly long after, I saw a video reviewing a top 10 (probably Jeremy) that had Aventus as a top scent. I bought a sample - and another sample. Holy crap is it great. I have settled into a more fougere type of profile, but Green Irish Tweed and Aventus are tremendous scents. Heaven smells like GIT (sorry Aventus).

To be honest I have been checking creed aventus for the last ten years and to my realistic experience the creed Adventus that originally came up in 2010 was purely heavenly and I was astonished after smelling that masterpiece especially its dry down ... and since then I am in search of that heavenly aroma which is certainly missing in all the creed aventus later years and batches ... Not sure if they lost that original formula or messed it up with batches concept in later years but my honest and realistic opinion here is that creed should have brought that original master piece at least on their 10 years anniversary I would say ... Creed, on a serious note, please don’t confuse people and your customers with these meaningless batches concept but if you really want your die hard core customers back then bring back that original formula of creed aventus of 2010 ... it was heavenly and intoxicating and a masterpiece just like Bond No 9 from the same year 2010 and unfortunately they also changed their original formula and made their Bond No 9 Oud is a mess .... bring back 2010 original formula if you want me to be back otherwise no ...

This type of BS is what made me wary of the sale of the creed line. These type of cash-grab moves dont instill confidence. Customer of Creed aren't concerned with price. Were concerned with quality. If there is a demand in the market for the Aventus DNA at a far more affordable price, someone will meet that demand. Creed Aventus 2020 batch is now underperforming when compared to CDNIM. It's that simple. Creed has upped the price and watered down the juice. Why would anyone pay higher prices for lower quality?

A ton of people sit their Aventus bottles out in light, and finally Creed has given us the option to do that without ruining the juice. This juice will smell stellar in a decade due to Creed’s filtration process combined with the bottle’s lack of transparency

It's definitely different in that it's not as smokey as my 2010 batch

Creed Aventus 10th anniversary is in my opinion boring and a version that nobody needs. Aventus is or better was a great fragrance and the scent DNA leaves its marks in the fragrance industry, but the time from Aventus is over. I have a nearly full 120 ml Aventus bottle from a good batch, but other fragrances with an similar scent DNA are much less expensive or simply better then Aventus, like Roja Parfums Elysium or Nishane Hacivat.
