Jonathan Majors was just starting to become a huge Star in movies appearing in movies like Devotion with Glen Powell, AntMan movie from 2023 and Creed 3 but unfortunately he got into legal trouble off camera.

I agree that Jonathan Majors did a phenomenal job as Damien. I would say he was the driving force of the film.

I'm a GenX child of the 80s, and I clearly see what an honor that was regarding entertainment. There was a (pre-internet) magic that cannot be captured today. I am back to reading books and watching a select few reaction channels. With some exceptions, such as Succession, Mad Men, Bates Motel and a couple of films I can't even remember now in the last decade - It’s an ongoing challenge to feel moved by modern media. I'm starting to understand why so many 'Golden Age' folks watch endless hours of historical documentaries and CSI. 😅 Thank you Mike & Jessica, for creating a comfy cyber nook to feel jazzed about the movies once again. 💫 P.S.: Now that you mention it, I agree - playing the Rocky theme at all was definitely out of place. Not in good taste.

CREED III is a cool movie on its own .... but it´s missing Rocky badly. Well, Stallone might still pop up in a future Creed movie, that is not completely off the table 🙂

Yes, that's what I've read, too, so we'll see when C4 comes out. (:

Yes. I feel that Damien is similar to Tommy Gunn, how they both had they're own agendas hidden deep down what they really wanted. Like, for Tommy Gunn, you had his manager George Washington Duke manipulating Gunn to fight Rocky for the belt in the ring. Because Rocky felt like he was responsible for how Tommy turned out under Duke's management. And then, you get the flip-side from Creed 3, as Adonis felt responsible for Damien, because of the past they both had growing up and how he abandoned Damien due to Mary-Anne hiding the letters from Adonis and not telling him. So in a sense, there are some similarities within each film and how they went about it. All in all, still a great film even with the dark tones added in. It eventually had to come into the light for Adonis to move on.

I have to agree that rocky was definitely missed in this one, You can tell in the direction they went, they wanted creed 3 to be it's own movie with it being michael b jordan's directorial debut. In creed 2 rocky told adonis that it's your time now, as a passing of the torch to him. Maybe in a sense of him building his own legacy and becoming his own man. Tommy Gunn felt some kind of way too thinking he was in rocky's shadow by manipulation of course. Their were heartfelt moments; but the heart wasn't the same as in the rocky movies. This a good one though.

I'm with you, the only thing better in this last movie is some of the visuals. It's a blessing and a curse to have the Rocky backstory going in to this. It's a good enough movie, overall, that I'm curious to see where they go with the story.

@BossMovieReactions I love your reactions to the Rocky series so much, you should watch Stallone's Over the Top. Another heart felt performance by Stallone about a man trying to reconnect with his 12 year old son

If they would have just used 5 minute montage of Dame in prison boxing and earning a rep or prison title. And Creed’s mom hiding the letters as they came in throughout the years. If they would have included that. It’s been a more complete movie. Other than that, it felt a bit rushed.

This is a great movie although for me it's the weakest of the 3 Creed movies. I just didn't feel the emotion as much as I did in the previous films probably due to Rocky not being involved. His life lesson speeches certainly have an impact. Overall a solid continuation of the story and well directed by Michael B. Jordan. It was another wonderful reaction from the both of you and I've thoroughly enjoyed watching. Thankyou.

I liked the Rocky movies but I can't wait til you get back to some regular movies. Hopefully some good comedies. I watched Creed 1 originally but I think most people never really got too invested in them like the Rocky movies. It's just kind of overkill. Like beating a dead horse. I'll be honest I havent watched your channel since Rocky 2 and I"ll be glad when you get back to some regular movies. Take care

This aint a Rocky Franchise It's complete trash! Didn't like it That's why Stallone Refused to watch it And it was snatched from him Without his knowledge But at least it's not called Rocky anymore That was a good call to distance hinself From this total garbage...

Yes, agreed, it's not a Rocky franchise, and that's why I said that I found it highly inappropriate to play the Rocky theme song at the end. (:
