I grew up on the great music of the 60's-70's. CCR has always been one of my favorites. John Fogerty has one of the most unique & recognizable voices around. They don't have a bad song! Huge list of hits! "I Heard It Through The Grapevine", "Proud Mary", "I Put A Spell On You", "Fortunate Son", "Down On The Corner", "Green River", "The Midnight Special", "Susie Q", "Have You Ever Seen The Rain", "Travelin' Band", "Run Through The Jungle", "Long As I Can See the Light", "Sweet Hitchhiker", "Bad Moon Rising" etc.

Great reaction! CCR is one of the bands whose music defines that era, and the use of Fortunate Son has been used in so many Vietnam War movies it's a meme. One of the things I like about these live performances is that they'll take a three minute song and just jam on it for 10-15 minutes. Happy Holidays!

CCR rocked back then! Definitely a mainstay in music in 70s! Love, mom❤

Heard the song a million times, but don't think I've ever seen this version. Yeah. much different equipment back then. Technically not before my time, I was about 3 weeks old when this happened, LOL. And , no, my parents weren't there, not even into this, they were already in their 30's. Have seen a few other videos from Woodstock. If you haven't seen it yet, check out Jefferson Airplane's performances of "White Rabbit" and "Someone To Love" , when you get a chance.

CCR was huge back then, couldn't get enough, so many hits. I almost made it there, but that fell apart. Good one guys!

CCR and The Doors were 2 unique American bands from the exact same time period that cranked out, not only a ton of music, but lasting HITS in a short period of time (5 years). CCR (7 albums, 9 Top-10 Hits) The Doors (not as many hit, but ALL 6 of their albums went platinum to multi-platinum in several countries). John of course went on to record even more great music through the 80s and 90s. Probably deserves a spot on the Mount Rushmore of American songwriters.

Great reaction as always! I didn't really get into CCR until the 80's, but wow what a corner stone in music. That's a good question of how many mic's were on the drum kit. My guess 1 or 2? Nothing like today where every drum and cymbal has its own mic

Plus it was all tube amps and analog board recording to tape. But with all that some of the best sounding live rock albums ever recorded were in the 70s and 80s. The Allman Brothers Live at the Fillmore east And Little Feats -Waiting for Columbus are two of the best.

There was no digital equipment back then. And it was an outdoor venue in a very large space. But this band is easy to listen to. They do tend to repeat, but so did a lot of bands back then. It’s just fun!!! No, I did not go to Woodstock. I was just going into my junior year in HS, and my parents would never have allowed it. That’s now called, “Back in the day…”!!!!!

Fogerty hated the sound so much at Woodstock, he refused to allow their performance on the Woodstock album.

Not that i no but i think they had to se what each other where doing i don't think they had in ear, what a sound. Today young people is unaware what stereo I, and music is not produced it sound like crap if you are turning up the volume. So thank for that.

Hi guys, it's been a while since you did a *Plush* video. Could you react to their most recent single "Run"? It reached #26 on the Mainstream Rock chart. Thanks. I love these girls. kzbin.info/www/bejne/r6jVaoV4rdN5fbcsi=m8HE8-UqK-qxOVAX
