ikr it's like the best part of the song. When I first heard this I thought it was Scott on the album and then saw one of these live videos and was like wtf?? Back in the day he was kind of not good at backup vocals but since doing a few of his own albums now he's spot on and it just sounds amazing, he also sounds kind of like Scott which is pretty cool.

idk where they get these lyrics. Scott's solo stuff isn't anywhere near this, and same with Tremonti's. These 2 get together and they come up with this like super wise pure lyrical genius...like even in their 20's they were saying shit like "can't sleep beneath the trees of widsom, when your axes cut the roots that feed them" like who the fuck comes up with that?? I'm in my 30's and still don't think of that kind of stuff and these guys were like what 22 years old in college when they wrote those old Creed songs. They don't realize what they have when they team up and if I found something like that I'd put all the personal shit aside and try to work with them as long as I could.
