I cant believe people hate on Creed. The older i get, the more the lyrics hit.
@RedlinesixtynineАй бұрын
I never go the hate either. It seemed like once it started, it became a mob mentality, and cool to hate Creed. Good to see Scott Stapp is out touring again.
@kenfresno2125Ай бұрын
@@Redlinesixtynine They were a Christian band. They all get mocked by the people who cover one eye, throw up the horns, pose for pictures with goats and snakes, film their videos on checkerboard tiles, etc. There's no great mystery why they hated the guys singing about Christ.
@Thrasher987Ай бұрын
@@kenfresno2125it’s cause they’re cheesy and tacky. They cornered a weak market and capitalized on it. It’s not because of Christ, it’s cause Stapp is a dork. Alter Bridge is 10000000x better than Creed ever was.

I know it sounds weird to say this, but Creed was the best concert I've ever been to! I saw them live with my mom (RIP) back during the 2012 Human Clay tour, I'm telling you, these guys had that crowd more hyped than any other bands I've seen at that venue. Creed sounded exactly like the album, Scott's vocals were freaking perfect, everyone was killing it. I will cherish that memory forever because my mom was with me, she passed away in January of 2018 and she was my best friend. Her name was Kim and she was 56yo when she passed away, she was a beautiful soul and she made me who I am. RIP Mom, I love you and I miss you very much. 🙏❤

Feels like forever Within my heart are memories Of perfect love that you gave to me Oh I remember When you are with me, I'm free I'm careless, I believe Above all the others we'll fly This brings tears to my eyes My sacrifice We've seen our share of ups and downs Oh how quickly life can turn around In an instant It feels so good to reunite Within yourself and within your mind Let's find peace there 'Cause when you are with me, I'm free I'm careless, I believe Above all the others we'll fly This brings tears to my eyes My sacrifice I just want to say hello again I just want to say hello again 'Cause when you are with me, I'm free I'm careless, I believe Above all the others we'll fly This brings tears to my eyes 'Cause when you are with me, I'm free I'm careless, I believe Above all the others we'll fly This brings tears to my eyes My sacrifice My sacrifice (I just want to say hello again) I just want to say hello again My sacrifice

Creed is no longer a band. Scott Stapp(singer) and Mark Tremonti(Guitarist) had "creative differences" but, I just assume it has to do with Scott Stapp's addiction to drugs supported by the fact that he was essentially penniless in 2014. Tremonti is still heavily focused on his solo stuff and Alter Bridge(Check them out) so, he isn't planning on reuniting with Stapp to resurrect Creed in the near future. Evidently they haven't even been close friends for a while now.

Nickleback is considered a sell out because they would take any deal offered, and creed got labeled a Christian rock band due to the lyrics and message for most of their songs even tho they argued they weren't plus the lead singer had substance problems which always impacts a reputation and legacy but it didn't stop them from being one of the top 10 selling artists of the 2000s

Call me stupid, call me corny but I am glad I grew up listening to bands like Creed. Their music had meaning behind it, it had soul, it had the it factor that still lasts today. Creed is one of the all time greats IMO. They did not have just one good song, They did not have just one awesome song, every song they put out was a massive hit.

I remember when I was 10 years old and I made friends with this older kid, Joseph Fisher and we met one day when he and his brother, Michael were passing football and I was passing football to myself until I saw them. I then went inside and told my dad and he recommended that I invite them over, little did I know that this would become almost routine for the next two years. Me, Joe and Mike established a great friendship and I remember we used to throw little parties on my house's front porch and we would take food and some drinks and just listen to music for hours, sometimes until midnight. But one particular night, he showed me this song and I loved it, became one of my favorites, now I'm in 8th grade and I just came across this song on accident and I just thought to myself "Joe." I was speechless, all I could think about is when he moved two years ago, God only knows what he's been doing. Stay safe bro, maybe if you get as lucky as me, you'll find this comment like I found you guys
