Hooked by the jaw! (So to speak). I love the fishing content...and the fact that this guy is a Christian. He follows the phrase:"Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men", which is, of course, what Jesus told his disciples, and those words also apply to all Christians. May God bless Brother John Dalton for his stance in the Gospel of Jesus Christ!

@@timberryhill658 Glad for the support! I've come across actual Atheists on the different channels that I'm subscribed to, and I always tell them one thing:"That God does exist, and that for them to not believe in God is foolishness beyond foolishness! To say that God doesn't exist, is saying that everything that we know exists came about by chance. Even if it were, that the seemingly innumerable dust particles that are in space, somehow collided with each other, and that that is how the planets were created (Which we know isn't true, being that we know that God spoke all that exists into being by the word of his mouth!), I always ask them this question:"Since you can't get something from nothing, how did the very dust itself come into being"? That gets 'em every time! They can't come up with an answer to that particular question! God is, and that, as they say, is that!

I am so sad to see those Lamprey on the Bass you caught. We have them up here, invasive species in Lake Champlain. They are almost indestructible. We left two in a cooler overnight with ice and water and they were still alive in the morning.

The view from the GoPro mount was cool. Finally camped at Parksville Lake this weekend (just got home). Caught 2 spotted bass. Lol. Gotta try kayak fishing sometime to get on better spots than I can get on from the bank. Ended up scouting some areas and stopped at Hiawassee Dam in NC. Fish were going nuts just down from the dam.

Nicw video! I got skunked (again) today in NY, but we still have ice on half the creeks. I do like the over the shoulder camera over the chest mount, but it looks like you're craning around for shots. I know they look goofy, but a hat camera, or just one up in front of the pedals could solve that. Everything worked well in this video.

Hi John. Greetings from Southeast Virginia. I wanted to ask you if you would at times show us the knots you use for your rigs. I'm a novice compared to you even though I have fished (mostly trout until I moved to VA) most of my life. I know general knots and I use probably just two of them for everything I do. I'm sure many of your viewers would like to see how you quickly handle adversity (which you probably edit out) for example when you lose a lure and have to tie one in your kayak or if you break your line on a snag. Just leave some of that footage for us to see sometimes and we could learn all that much more. I'm totally hooked on your show and have been sharing it with others. I watch alone and make comments while you fish. Sometimes you answer me back! Keep on fishing and making vids. Blessings of God be upon you *most* of all.

@ John, you should have taken time to removed all the lamprey's attached to the fishes, of course some lammprey's did released their hold on some of the fishes. Those lampley's were drinking blood from the fishes making them weaker.
