Thank you everyone for donating to my Kickstarter! Another thanks to Prisma, Jack, and Bakyaan for helping me out with this song!! This will probably be the final song of TV to be uploaded, unless a certain song gets a video. Now, to make a long story short, yes, this song is inspired by The Exorcist. Also, before I get emotional, note that the physical version of my album is released! And all orders will be shipped, starting November 2nd! And, ontop of it, I now have a PO Box! And I may have a few ideas for shirts... maybe...
This also takes the same trailing as Ai and Love. This personifies an abuser as a demon, and the one speaking is the person being hurt. They have to fake it, so they are told. They have to smile, so they are told. They are the host of the demon, so they are told. And this is the song, that I can finally say, I refuse to take it anymore. I know my worth.

I think there's a reason that the final chorus loops(this is just a theory). I think it represents the victim being stuck with this abuser forever(or at least a very long time). She kept telling people that her relationship was perfectly healthy, when really it wasn't. And the people believed her. Now she's stuck in this hellish relationship, for eternity.

@@stellar702_ yes but no? vocaloids have a voice provider that pronounce different syllables for them to sing, and then they are tweaked to make a whole different voice. most of the voices are obviously artificial in their own way, but cyber diva is especially human sounding, unlike most other vocaloids. btw vocaloid is a voice synthesizer program (not free) that exists for people to make songs with different voice products

More than an exorcism, I️ kind of understood this song to represent an abusive relationship. “Said you loved me said you’d kill me” this could be eminent in a partner who threatens their significant other to stay with them. Yesterday I had enough with my father's verbal abuse. For years he has verbally abused my mother to the point she gets physically ill. It haunts me that I'm not an adult and I cannot take her away to a safer place. I'm currently coming up with a plan to not only help her, but to help me and my siblings. Verbal and emotional abuse is just as bad as domestic abuse... Update: I still have not left yet as it is very difficult to leave. My house has secruity cameras and i have an app on my phone that tracks my location. But I have recorded and wrote down each incident so I know the frequency of the abuse. And I cannot believe the support y'all have given me! I'm getting stronger and stronger everyday! Stay safe y'all! 😌 Update 2: I graduated Highschool and sadly I have to start my first year of college at home. I don’t have a job nor a car so I can’t go places. I have heard of things that are alarming to me so I’m constantly on guard. I am okay and I will come up with something. It might take time, but I know God is watching me and going to lead me in the right path. Update 3: Recently I got a job at my university and I am getting paid! I’m so thankful to find a job that relates to my passions and eventually my dream career. For those who are still worried, I am okay, although staying at home. I also in a very healthy relationship and I go to therapy to help with what I’m dealing with. Thank you all for looking after me. May the Lord be with you all! 🙏🏻

I never quite understood why people would stay in abusive relationships until I was in one myself. I had it in my head that abusers were these horrible, awful, irredeemable people. Like monsters, and I didn't understand why someone would stay with them. I didn't realize, that they were simply *people,* people who loved, had morals, had passions, who tried their best with everything they did, that laughed and cried like everyone else, THEY could be abusers, and that was the most terrifying realization of my *life.* Because suddenly I was with someone who wasn't a monster, who was truly trying his best, and hurting me in the process. I needed to get out. But I loved him, how *could* I escape? I felt like I couldn't, I felt trapped. Trapped in this never ending cycle of hurt and pain not because someone was intentionally trying to hurt me but because they were *flawed* and that was truly scary. I needed to get out, but I couldn't. I could hurt a monster, but not a person. So I took it, I took the hurt I took the blame for EIGHT F-CKING MONTHS, and I wasn't able to reach out until he nearly led me to end my life. This song really spoke to me at a time when I was in so much pain, and gave me the courage to leave. Thank you

Also, to all the people that took their time to compose their own theories, i’d say they’re spot on. But i think Eyeris is right when he says that LOVE and Exorcism are about an abusive relationship. This here is my take on the whole sha-bang. LOVE from Abuser’s POV - The abuser corners their victim in a wall and tells them that loving them wasn’t that much of a chore for them, but tolerating one’s whims is just like watching paint dry for them. The abuser also views their victims as hopeless romantics just seeking out love for the sake of being loved, which may contribute to insult to injury. The abuser also says that loving their victims was as simple as chewing needles, and that wanting them was a complete waste of their time. During the second part during the last part of the song also says that the abuser cannot stop yelling and keeps on playing with their victim like they’re they’re own toy, as well as twisting their words around to set you off on some sort of emotional roller coaster. Exorcism from Victim’s POV - The victim found their abuser (probably through a dating website or something) and left that person for abusing them, physically, mentally, and verbally. In public, the victim sits down and does nothing while the abuser constantly claims that they would never hurt anyone, which also explains the BS Liar part of the song. And the victim feels like the abuser is the one in control, speaking louder then one’s voice, feeling blocked off by their abuser. As the description of this song says, the victims is forced to feel happy, and play along as if nothing happened. Now obviously, that’s just the abuser telling the victim to play along so that the abuser doesn’t get in trouble. And towards the end of the song, the victims has finally left that person, getting sick and tired of being abused, again, mentally, physically, and verbally. They may end up remembering what happened, but know that they got out alive. To anyone that has never seen this comment before, you must have been surprised. I myself have been to church a few times in real life, but that’s not really an important part of this comment. The root of this is to just completely theorize the two songs in this one comment, just so i can have a bit of a chance to correct anyone that has come up with pretty good theories that don’t really match well with how the song portrays domestic assault. I myself may not have found the proper girl in real life, but once i do, we may have to get through any arguments or disagreements that come up, making it a goal to never fight in bed, and only sort things out in the daytime. And my honest thoughts on it, when i first listened to this song, i had no basic idea that Eyeris was in the horrible relationship until he summed enough courage to be able to post this song, which is surprising. He was encouraged by a person on twitter to post LOVE online to sort of express his past relationship by telling it through music, which i think is cool. So to eyeris (who may end coming across this comment), i am very sorry that you have been in such a bad situation with your ex. I had no idea that you were abused like this in high school, or outside of high school, until you stated taking your voice and placing it in your music, not physically, but through vocaloid itself. But i do hope that things work out for him, and he sums up the courage to post Animalistic once he finishes it, because i am definitely looking forward to seeing it. So yeah, that’s my take on this long comment, theory, thing.

This song is about (public) gaslighting. I've been gaslit by my parents and ex-partners, and still am as a full adult (as to which this song is even more relatable to the point that it describes it almost to a T, because adults 100% have no reason to have someone else speaking for them). I am still being treated like a little kid that can't do a thing, and whenever I try to reach for help, my parents interrupt and talk over me, as to which the people I ask help for end up taking their side about my parent's comments about me, rather than my own comments about myself, even though I'm an adult. My mother tries making excuses about how it's okay to rob money off of me, and uses every little thing I've done against me in an attempt to not let professionals take me away. For one, she says I am lazy in an attempt to not make them feel like I'm worthy of help, and two, being a hypocrite and saying that I am too weak to do these things (which I AM very weak, but she overexaggerates it), in an attempt to make it look like I HAVE to rely on her (my mother). She's basically telling them that helping me out of pointless, as I myself end up also saying... that asking for help is pointless. Saying that you're fine isn't the depression cliche, as in this context, it's you asking for help, but THEM saying to those that can help you all of the reasons why you don't need help... even though the staff are there to talk to you, they speak for you instead. And acting coy and nice is all you can pretty much do in that scenario. You can't speak, yet you also don't want to look distressed (as you are afraid they will use it against you), so you try and act normal. Wanting to die (especially the part "to be found") indicates that there's pretty much no way for anyone to help them... but maybe if they commit suicide, someone will finally realise. That's why you need an exorcism metaphorically - YOU feel horrible because YOU "did" those things that someone is saying that you did! (Which you didn't do), or vice versa. It can be said for just about anything. Exorcists are the professionals that you want to seek help with, e.g. therapists, social workers, doctors, but because someone else speaks for you, they can't help you.

I know People already noticed this but When she found the Man and "Forgot" Him, She was holding a Crucifix. But she was found later without a Crucifix when she said "You Possessed me" to "You'd Kill me." To me, It represents how her "Lover" was slowly taking the Hope of getting out of the Abusive Relationship from her and how she's slowly losing her sanity. Mkay here are my teo theories for two versions So basically this song tells us about a woman who is a Christian (the cross she holds) who is verbally and physically abused by her lover who speaks for her, he constantly controls her life until she speaks up at him and the abuse gets even worse. He lies to her constantly and she possibly murders him i guessm The second version is about the same lady being possessed and is forced to speak rarely due to the demon wanting to control what she does and say. If she speaks about this demon he will possess her and force her to dp physical abuse to herself (henceforth the scratches on her) but of course she does it anyways and the demons posseses her and forces her to become a unhuman being who is crying out to get a excorsist.

okay everyone thinks diva has a multiple personality disorder, but i have another theory It's about a toxic relationship, where the abuser is taking control of her, making decisions for her and talking for her, like the couples before, the woman don't have rights, she's the man's belonging. And at the end Diva completely embrasse this life, knowing she can't be saved because of how manipulative her man is, so she lives like that. The first lines of the song tells how that man is toxic and do horrible things then she forgives him because how she loves him, "Keep your voice down or he'll hurt me" getting out of a toxic relationship is hard, if she says anything to anyone, the man will blame it on her and abuse her even more

***** your comment wasn't for me but since i think it's kinda bad too, i'll state why i think so to you as well. first, the lyrics are really bland and just really repetitive. "He's speaking, speaking for me" and then the pre-chorus "Exorcists can't save me now. I swear to you that i'm fine. please let me die to be found. He speaks for me, nerves that i grind." this is just... so bad. the last line to that especially. it sounded like the lyricist just wanted something to fill the sound they've made. they don't flow, are very choppy, and seem like they were just used for the character's emotional thoughts. which is fine but just sounds bad. the rhyming is very half-assedly done. switching to "he speaks for me" AGAIN whenever the lyricist can't seem to find out anything else to write. the second verse is just... there. it makes literally no sense. What happened more than once? the bad relationship? the posession? it's just there to fill empty space. and then again, it switches to the "you spoke for me". the lyrics could do so much more to state that this is about a bad relationship rather than "he speaks for me! i'm uncomfortable! exorcise me please! it's like i'm being controlled!" you could sum the song up like that. the song needs flesh. more than just words to fill an empty tune. there are other ways the person could've wrote these lyrics to better convey the message they wanted to send. they can say it metaphorically means a bad relationship all they want but it also has to be alluded to such which they have done poorly through the lyrics. lyrics aren't meant to be taken at face value and that's how i feel this person wrote them. to be taken that way. the only thing that possibly alludes to it being a relationship is probably the bridge where she screams bullshit liar a lot. (which is absolutely stupid) the bridge was horrendous. it was just "bullshit liar, bullshit liar bullshit liar" it just... honestly is hard to be taken seriously. i don't know any song that just repeats an insult for a lyric. It especially does not fit with the song at all considering the rest of the verses. and onto the tuning which is really weird... there's an off pitch curve they tuned some notes that make her sound pitchy, which i get is for the song so i won't dwell to much on because it's stylistic-- but the tuning was also very off tune. the vocal melody doesn't fit in or blend with the instrumental. it's like listening to the lyrics of one song to another song's instrumental. Popipo to Meltdown, is an example. the only thing that seems to fit in with the melody without sounding horribly dissonanced is the "I need an exorcism" until it starts raising the pitch in the later stages of repetition. these are just my reasons for disliking the song. i think the instrumental is great, the art is nice even if the PV is pretty basic. I just think the lyrics and tuning need a lot more work because i find that the tuner dissonances with a lot of this composer's music and the lyrics are just... flat and horrible. also, i'm not sure if you know what dissonance is, but it's when you have two sounds playing together that create a gritty, grindy feeling due to it not being rightfully harmonized.
