For me, they turned a song about stalker-tendencies into introspection and self-doubt. I greatly prefer this to the original. And it is really hard to believe that the part with all the light-show is not filled with instruments - it is not just such a wall of sound, but also angst.

My favorite moment in this was the Run, Run, Run. The lights changed with each Run, and Eli was "directing" the lights. This was mesmerizing!

VP always try and 1) do something original while giving a lot of respect to the original, 2) tap into the lyrics, emotional content of the songs (whatever the emotion) - because they truly feel it and 3) do their very, very best on all aspects (incl. presentation). Truly unique group. Eli did a wonderful job here. Cesar was perfect as the lead. At the height of the song I keep having to remind myself that there are no instruments!🌹🕊

Great reaction. Layne mentioned in a recent interview that Eli had agreed to take on a third of the arrangements/projects - something to look forward to! The only other one we have from Eli is Eleanor Rigby - and it's an absolute gem.

Cesar was the first singer followed by Anthony. Then the beatboxer, Layne, started Geoff off, and Eli is the rock tenor and did the arrangement, etc. of this project. The mirror was an incredible prop. Looking at the mirror, saying to themselves being special.

They did such a great job with this one. No big surprise there. The little "tweeks", like the lighting and the mirrors just made this song their own. WOW!!! First time viewer here, great reaction! This is in my top 5 of Voiceplay songs. It's glorious! Especially with Cesar's voice ending it, he really gets you in the feels! While I learned to love my own weirdness, this song takes me back to my insecurities in school, which fade but never truly leave us 100%. In my opinion, anyone over the age of 13 who says they can't relate to this is flat-out lying. Does that make me cynical? Perhaps. But I fully believe it's true nonetheless.

Very well done! Thanks! 🌹 Who doesn´t know this feeling, to be different to not belong? When I had to begin wearing hearing aids I was in my thirties. It was hard to accept. But I could no longer follow communications around me. I could not take part in interactions between my friends and family. I felt like a creep. This look into the mirror, to look at yourself feels very uncomfortable. But to have someone run out on you and make you doubt yourself is heartbreaking. I don’t get any “Stalker-Vibes” from this version. Instead I want to talk to them and tell them that every one of them is very special. Thank you for reacting and sharing.💐

You were close, it's pronounced Garjoola. (A lot of people manage to make the end Julia. but it's not that. )For me it's when Anthony starts to sing that I get the chills. So much emotion in his voice. I'm about to turn 80 and have never fitted in anywhere , been called weird or crazy, so the song really speaks to me. Makes me cry. Turns out now that I'm on the Autisn spectrum , which explains a lot. :)
