Thank you for this. I have followed your game development since I was a young child. I played all the demos that were released onto Armour Games, and was so happy when I was 15 and was finally able to purchase 1, 2, and 3. Now, as an adult, I can safely say that you are the only developer whose games I will buy without question upon release. CW4? Sold. PF? Sold. You put so much detail and thought into your games, and I really appreciate it. So, thank you.

I've had CW4 on my wishlist forever. I want you to know that the Creeper World series is in my top 5 favorite games ever. I don't say that lightly. I've played all kinds of high profile games over the last 30 years. I'm getting older and not a lot of games are really worth the time anymore. Creeper World is special though. I've loved all of them and appreciate all your hard work. You made a great series of games. I'll buy CW4 on day one and am looking forward to the release.

The thing I love about Creeper World, is the fact that you can play however you want. I did that mission very differently. First I took out the bottom spore and emitter, and cleared out creeper. Didnt bother to take the middle ground, like knucracker did. What I did do, was spearheading with ~6 cannons, while softening the creeper with 3 mortars. 3 cannons died, but managed to secure the beachhead. It was friggin' Omaha there! Then I just went #yolo and made 10 cannons and just demolished the creeper. REALLY REALLY enjoyed it! Can't wait for the full version.

I like the no-pause challenge you got going on! Could also implement it to the full game, just achievements and challenges in general. Definitely should be added right before the full release, and given some time to check for bugs, but I think they could add a lot to the game. Like a hidden progression/expertise system, and a fun-challenging system. This game will be great even without achievements, but I just thought I'd mention it!

Looks very nice! The graphics are a nice upgrade while still retaining the art style of the originals, and the creeper has never looked better. Eagerly awaiting the release of this one.

Just found the time to play the demo missions are great the 2 end maps (7/8) are okay, probably will be a lot better when you have more than the 2 towers + 2 anti air stuff to play with. But i did enjoy my short time with it. really hyped for the full game as it's pretty much all i hoped to be and more. so nice to turn the camera sometimes :)

I love this. I have been playing this creeper games time to time and it is an amazing game for relaxing... and i don't play tower defense but i always imagined the creep as a water and you had to play against flooding lol... I just hope there is gonna be a really high variety of tower.. because that is what i really did not liked about the other creeper games, i love to play around and be open to the game and the more it has the more fun it is to me..

Just been playing through it, it's amazing. 2 things, audio can be awful sometimes, and the consistent pauses and interruptions for story text can be very annoying. Also, it's neat the lines for towers shut off when not in use, but sometimes I get confused if the tower is connected or not. I'd like to see a ghost around the mouse for connections to show up. EDIT: Actually, or all connections show when building towers

I remember playing the first game back in high school and loved it (also just replayed all of it) this game looks amazing and I can't wait to see it released. I played all 8 (currently) missions and aside from how beautiful it looks my only gripe is that I'm used to ALL of my buildings being in one place, having the factory not in the box with the rest of it messed me up for a few hours until I remembered it was even a thing. Here I was making missiles and thinking, why would I get these but not get ammo for it. Otherwise I'm still loving it.

LET'S GOOOO!! Finally we get something to do while you finish the game you want to deliver. I just checked and creeper world was released in July 2009, this franchise is almost 11 years old, damn. Was anything made for the 10th anniversary? I don't remember. I thought it would be cool if in an event like the anniversary or something like that we got something for all creeper world games, I would like to see a map, a big one that looks the same in all games just to see how different it plays in every game, but that's just an idea that popped in my mind. What do you think?

the only real complaint I have after having played the demo is that the top-down mode feels a little strange to look at while playing, and even saying that I can't give you a good explanation as to why, because everything I could say doesn't encapsulate how I actually feel. It's still really useful though so thanks for including it.

Quick question, have you done any performance testing yet? I know some custom maps in CW3 have 25-50 spores that spawn. Have you tried so see how that could work in CW4 and if the launcher AI's could handle it?

Interesting twist on the totem mechanic in this one. I was wondering half way through, "hang on, you're not producing liftic anywhere, how are you going to power your totems?" Not realising that it's a finite amount in supply pods on the map you have to fight to. :)

I just found out about this game and it looks really interesting. However, I have a suggestion which is that injuries to the liquid should "pop" more - maybe the explosions could be outlined in a color that contrasts to the liquid (like orange).

I'm not sure if I like the new mechanic of activating totems to progress the level and not being able to permanently destroy the creep spawners. One of the things that gave creeper world its charm was the satisfaction of being able to completely wipe the map of creep before moving on, or in order to move on. It felt like you were actually fighting back against the menace because everywhere you went, you purged the corruption. But now it just seems like you are never making progress and just constantly running from the enemy and never getting anywhere. Sure you can nullify all enemies but that's different from destroying and purging the creeper. And while it would be cool for some missions if you couldn't kill the creep but rather had to do a second objective to progress, having that as the main mechanic for every mission is a different story all together. This game looks like fun and I'll still probably get it, but it just seems to have lost the charm. Rather than feeling like I'm pushing back and fighting against the evil that has spread across the world, it feels like each mission would either be too short bc you can just push for the objective and ignore everything else, or too long bc there is no way to permanently remove the creeper from the world.

I’m hyped for this demo, I remember playing the original CW as a flash game and about a year ago I rediscovered this and downloaded CW3, but I have one main concern. It feels like there’s a lot of stuff from all the different resources to which weapons take out what threats. Is there a chart or some single place (maybe steam) detailing what is called what and what takes out what, bc I’m worried this will get real confusing real quick

OOOOOOH actually! Where to you @knucracker accept bug reports? I namely encountered one in the tutorial: You can move a turret when you should only be able to move your command center. If you pick up a cannon instead and move it into the green square you cannot complete the tutorial because the only place to land things is the green square which now is occupied by a cannon and not the command center. Ergo: soft-lcok.

One of the coolest things to do on Creeper World 3 is the Colonial Space and the ability to make our own maps. Will that be incorporated into Creeper World 4 at some point?

If you look closer at menu background, it has "Mission Editor" and "Farsite Colonies". Maybe that's what you want/get....
