To see him weep over not having early childhood memories of Robyn's kids, him gently carrying Aurora upstairs to bed with a panic attack, Daddy/daughter ear piercing day, and sobbing over Aurora being in the basement during Covid, juxtaposed with what we have witnessed of him trying to have his boys kicked out of their home, his TOTAL lifelong neglect of Truely, refusal to be with Ysabel during her life threatening surgery and recovery afterward, and his ghosting of Savannah for absolutely no reason, is seriously harder for me to take than ANY of Robyn's psycho actions. Robyn wasn't the only one who had Kody's kids erased and Robyn's inserted. Kody did too.

That panic attack still infuriates me! Hands down worse response by Kody and Robyn. His carrying her away and Robyn's "Look in my eyes" is only going to prolong the attack, lead to more, and give Aurora ZERO COPING SKILLS! The correct way to handle your child's panic attack is to step back, tell them this feeling isn't going to last forever, and tell them to breath. Wait, wait, ask if kiddo wants some water(long explanation about drinking will calm breathing/distraction),and if possible DO NOT REMOVE FROM THE AREA. The goal is to let your child find ways on their own to overcome the panic attack and the attacks become shorter and less frequent. That being said Aurora's age n behavior of the "panic attack" brings up serious questions about attention seeking behavior, tantrums, over reactions, and stunted maturity. So not sure if she had a true panic episode or what she thinks is a panic attack.

For years, my mother tried to erase our dad, unsuccessfully. After I got married, I decided that I would adopt my old last name as my middle name. When I told my mother that my new legal name was "Victoria Nelson Smith" , with Nelson being my dad's last name, my mother lost her mind. The name I was born with was "Victoria Jane Nelson" and although she never told me before this "Jane" was one of her aunts. Apparently, me using the name of my father, who I loved, adored and missed, was a huge insult to her and to Aunt Jane (who I never knew). I'm pretty sure that my mother was a narcissist, just like I think Kody is one, too.

When I first saw this episode, I had the same reaction to the over sharing with the artist. It was totally unnecessary to explain polygamy to him. I remember being embarrassed for Robyn. Didn't know why I was for decades, but now I realize that the burden of responding in a way the giver will find satisfactory is TOO MUCH! The givers always scrutinize your face while you're opening the package, they wait, holding their breathes in anticipation of drinking in your dramatic and profuse expressions of wonder, happiness and eternal f-*** gratitude when the pretty paper's off and you see what it is. It's too much pressure, please please please keep your trinkets! I'm old, I have 3 of everything, and I'm downsizing, which means I'm just going to re-gift it. So let's skip the middle man and just give me a nice warm hug.

Dayton gets hurt under Kody. Needs surgery and has a huge emergency bill. The bill is used to blackmail ex husband to give up his rights. He demands a unsupervised visit after giving up rights. One component that no one discusses but needs research is what was going on TLC.

TLC were they in the middle of a legal battle with the parents on Kate + 8. My take is TLC was worried about Robyn’s ex coming and causing problems. I think that TLC was helping them getting this sorted.
