I think that some day Mykelti will look back at the times she tried to cover for Kody and Robyn and realize how she was used. If she ever dares to speak the truth or do something that K & R don't approve of she will be shunned - that is certain. Back to the "rule" - Kody used the rules to keep away from the rest of the wives and children. He was already pulling away and used the rules to legitimize his estrangement - he didn't have any desire to keep interacting with the OG3 or OG13. It worked out for him since Robyn was so freaked out and he used her, too. Kody and Robyn bring out the worst in each other as narcissitic couples tend to do. I totally agree with you! Robyn’s Rules should have been the title of that page. She’s the most paranoid one. Kody has no clue that he can catch “it” and pass “it” even if he keeps everyone else away. These excessive, obsessive rules finished tearing the family apart; and Kody’s treatment of his children directly led to Garrison’s death. It’s a shame Kody can’t be legally charged with at least manslaughter.

Kody wanted to stay at Robyn's house so this whole covid thing was a good reason for him to be able to do just that...stay with Robyn permanently. He already did not have much of a relationship with Christine and he never visited Meri. Janelle was putting the boys needs before his so she was disloyal in his opinion. They could have gotten the vaccine if they really would have wanted to interact with the family without all these rules, but it was so clear they were happy with the distance between them and the others. Meri even followed all the rules on Kody and Robyn's list and she couldn't come over.

Part of these ‘rules’ where based on rumors that where going around in the first few months. Around that time I worked in healthcare (the supply chain of medicine and vaccines). People were told to follow these rules, I had people quarantine for months and months just in case the rest of staff died and we needed to produce critical medicines. - Keep in mind this was the time we thought that everyone would die, we wouldn’t have clean water anymore and no garbage pickups ect. Every time a study would show that a rules wasn’t necessary anymore, we communicated that IMMEDIATELY!! A lot of these rules remind me of them.

Many businesses closed permanently! Very sad. I followed all the CDC rules, not Kody rules, and I was very careful, but I still got COVID! I had already gotten the COVID vaccine. 21days, I was very very sick, especially the first 2 weeks! Way more sick than Kody with his 99.8 temp!!! Mine was 103 something. IMO Robyn controls situations in a passive aggressive manner. She constantly asks questions or make comments in a way so she doesn’t have to really state her opinion. Come home through the garage, take her clothes off, stick them in the washing machine and wipe down the groceries before coming and then my mom‘s house. I think most of us who learn about how our immune system worked, kinda of took them first suggestions as odd.

@mardyross283810 ай бұрын
Yes, it was at the very beginning. I'd shop for my homebound, legally blind and deaf client whose daily highlight was the mail. I'd leave the mail 24 hours and give him yesterday's mail that had sat 24 hours OR I'd open mail and have him grab out the paper and sash my hands after tossing in trash. His landscape lawn care guy also had to sanitize everything at the end if the day, he fell behind due it being busy season spring startup in our area with most homes having pumps that need startup and repair and spring cleanup. I think it was State he had his official mandates from. Colorado was late to have it hit, my area it was Thanksgiving that seemed to get people weary of distancing and tempted to get together. I was exposed Dec 7. Almost died , the one who exposed me did die. It traced back to Thanksgiving time but the family had not gotten together.... I had been hired to cook for the client and her husband .... then I went to the homebound guys later. I'd shower and change clothes between. Ironically they had same last name yet were unrelated. There was a family member who continued ladies game group, who walked the dog every other day. So the dog collar, leash, maybe was vector. Because then the other dog walking family member got it and her husband, then the sister I was hired to help, then her husband and I ... our symptoms started same day as she went to the hospital the 2nd time, and died when I was just past my worst day where I thought I may need to last ditch go to hospital ... and then the fever of 5 days (103) subsided. But in the beginning at the house with the behind yard keeper, I began pruning, lol. The barber couldn't come I'm so I learned to cut his hair. The housekeeper couldnt come in so I cleaned. The nuse coukdnt come so I set up pills. Family coukdnt come so I brought in a big monitor and computer .... we watched his youngest grand graduate online and I brought bubbly apple juice, and my dog. We made the best of the worst. And he never caught it! Died of a worn out body in 2021 but needed facility only after the vaccine came so the workers would lower masks to talk to him as he read lips. So I wore masks... 2 at a time once Virus was in our city, when out in public or with other clients but not there. I think the wiping with clorox was March and April and by May research was showing it died rapidly on surfaces and to leave them 24 hours and UV helped.
@SeniorPerspective10 ай бұрын
Right, I agree! and at first everyone including the government was a bit freaked out not knowing how this would all pan out. But within a month, things started evening out (at least in Ohio) and everyone know what to do to keep living as normal of a life as possible. These rules from Kody came out about 6-8 mos after covid broke! By then, we knew it wasn't transmitted on soft surfaces and only lived on hard surfaces for a short period of time. He's just justifying his and Robyn's desire to stay away from the family in my opinion!
@vixenligon116710 ай бұрын
I truly believe they don’t understand how our immune system works. She was paranoid and he did whatever he could to make her happy. And then bluntly lied repeatedly that it was him, not her with the rules. Everyone could see it was her paranoia that was making it happen. His protection of her cost him the family. He seems to truly not be able to comprehend there’s other people in his family besides her. It really is odd.
