Shook by the volume even when layering those two heavy products. I have similarly textured hair, medium density 3b-3c and I know the struggle to really find products for that margin between types 3 and 4 curls. Your hair looks stunning.

I have a great combo for wash and go's, but looking for products that will not break out my back this summer. This will be my first summer as a 100% natural since my big chop in September. Beautiful results! I 've heard that the shampoo , mask, and twisting cream are standouts in this line. But since I already have a shampoo I don't feel like I need to buy it but I will be purchasing the mask and the cream. Both of you are hair goals. Me personally, growing my hair out so it can be as long as Taylor's. I don't understand why there's an uproar, creme of nature is already known for having silicones in their lines. Off topic, I was silicone free for two or three weeks just to see if there was a difference. There's not a huge difference. My hair still loves cones. The first thing I bought from the line last month was the mask and I, my hair, did not care for it. It did my hair like anything with a lot of protein in it does to my hair; it made it very stiff and not soft at all. I'm not sure if I left it in too long or whether I should try it with the whole line but I was disappointed with it for my hair. I want to give it another try though. I don't like giving up on products that I spent money on lol. But before I try it again I'm gonna let my daughter use it because of how products with protein does to her hair. Her hair absolutely loves protein so maybe this mask will be good for her. I'll let y'all know lol. Take care and as always great video!

Great results, I wonder if you could leave a little of the mask in as a leave in. I did that with one of the Shea Moisture deep conditioners and it worked well. I have color in my hair and it did not hinder. I might try it. Thanks ladies.👍😊

TJ LIGHTFOOT I probably wouldn’t leave the Mask in. I recently read that deep conditioners are meant to be used as stated. Anything more than that is overkill and can end up causing more issues than help. But everyone’s hair is different. I do know I liked it far better than the detangler. My hair had volume galore. I wonder if leaving that mask In would weigh it down and I’d lose the volume? -LoriAnne

This video is very informative (as always). I like the point you and LoriAnne brought up about silicones in the product. I try to stay as CG as possible, but the more and more research I do - the more I realize that natural products are like organic food and vegetables (etc). When you eat wholesome foods you rarely shop in bulk because it will expire quickly. By the hour, organic food looses it's nutrients once put into use. Same with natural hair products. I think these silicones and waxes are there to preserve the organs of the natural products. But, the key is making products where the silicones (actually) preserve the natural ingredients instead of become a barrier to them. Does that make sense? You guys are great! The more we all are on this journey we are not sticking so rigidly to these scripts because there are exceptions to these rules and a purpose for certain ingredients. To take certain “dirty” ingredients out may sacrifice performance. I believe it’s all trial and error. I look at my 80 and 90 year old relatives with full heads of hair that knew nothing of being natural..... they just were and shampooed and never conditioned (get that one) and have full heads of hair of all textures. I’m taking a page from their book. They weren’t bothered with all these rules and nor shall I be- LoriAnne

Watching your video and ordering creme of nature products, both the pure honey line and the coconut milk line, based on your videos. I only do WNGs as well, as my hair, for some reason, don't hold twists, and do not do well as with hair styles, other than WNGs. I think LoriAnne is right, her hair does look thicker with this product and both of your curls are so defined!!!! I will see how my hair likes the products when I get them.

Atiya Lawhorne As you know, we are constantly testing products. To single out one product over another is very difficult because every brand does something different. I’m loving this mask, but does it stand head and tails above all other masks I’ve tried? Does any of them? Quite frankly, that’s a hard question to answer and I don’t look at products in that way to compare them as better or worse than something I’ve already used. Each product caters to a specific need. This mask had exceptional slip, but so did the TXTR mask. When I need a mask with slip I’ll grab either one. When I want a mask with moisture I’ll grab my Carol’s Daughter Mask, either one, Almond or Rhassoul. They are interchangeable to me. Co-washes clean while moisturizing your hair. I love the CRN one, as you guys know, but I found my Curl Junkie Cowaah the other day and put it back into the rotation. So, imho 😊 comparing products as better than is all relative. It depends on your hairs needs. I hope that helps you. -LoriAnne

How do you keep your hair maintenance I mean like what do you sleep in because I'm loving watching your wash and go because I have difficulties with one of my arms lifting it up braiding twisting but why she can go looks like what I need to really start doing how do you sleep though

TaylorAnne (longer Hair) sleeps with her hair in a pineapple (a high ponytail) on the top of her head and on a silk pillow case. LoriAnne (shorter hair) sleeps with a satin bonnet or a Loc Soc to preserve her curls. Your next day curls aren’t going to look like your day 1, as the days go on your will experience frizz and more volume more than likely, it’s something to get used to, but it can make the hair look even more bomb! We don’t mind it! ☺️

I tried the spray leave-in and twisting cream for my wash and go last week. I hated it! I experienced flaking and my hair looked like a 5 day old wash and go when it dried. Maybe I’ll try the cream as a one and done before I give up on it.

Quick question- if you had to choose between this line deep conditioner, Eden body works marshmallow deep conditioner or the cantu TXTR which one will you guys choose 🤔

Lorianne is asleep right now so I cannot speak for her, but if I had to choose it would depend on whether I wanted something lighter or heavier. The TXTR I love and it’s a lighter deep conditioner in feel but has amazing slip and moisture. If I wanted a thicker, more rich deep conditioner I’d go with the Creme of Nature , it has great slip and moisture and is definetly thicker than the Cantu. Both are amazing, it just depends on what you’re looking for. -TaylorAnne

Some tips for retaining length are use some products that are a bit heavier so they weigh the hair down, there is also the stretching method that LoriAnne showed In the Shea Moisture Manuka Honey & Mafura Oil Video, how she takes the dryer and stretched the roots and it gives her some length.

Yes for some reason I’ve never been comfortable with just a wash n go. I wonder if it’s bc I’m transitioning 😩🧐

Hi Dina! That could totally be a reason why, with transitioning having the two different textures on your head can make one not want to wash n go. I know back when I was transitioning, before there was even a natural hair movement, I didn’t know about braid outs or twists out, all I had was the wash n go. I was totally confident rocking my multiple textures because that’s all I knew lol but stick to whatever you’re comfortable with! Maybe one day you’ll want to try one! ☺️ -TaylorAnne

hmmm i heard mixed reviews on the mask. but then again im also tired of buying masks FOR NOW!! i really like the knot away!! never got tangles with it. I got the shampoo ,conditioner, cream and knot away. i didn't want anything else either from the collection.

I think they do not understand hair. Cause when you make a thick product, most hair and different hair textures do not need a lot of buildups or a lot of product to do the job. I think some product makers have tested their product on different hair and some just make products just to have a product out there.

CoCoPopx I’m not quite sure what the deal is but I am pleasantly surprised, once agin by my results with Creme of Nature’s thick thick styling products. The Coconut line and now this line did not disappoint even though their stylers were thicker than anything I would ever have chosen for myself 🤷🏽‍♀️-LoriAnne
