I met Audrey Shenandoah in 1991, at a symposium at Middlebury College, where I was a senior. The Dalai Lama was one of the other guests. He and Audrey both had that same _presence,_ a sense that they were people with a strong connection to more of the spiritual realm. But while the Dalai Lama had this aura of calm around him, Audrey Shenandoah had and aura of _strength_ that she seemed to be pulling from the ground. She gave a blessing, a thanksgiving, to the four directions, to nature, to … well, it's been 30 years, so I don't remember many details. But I *do* remember _feeling it,_ in every muscle, in every nerve, right into my bones. And I remember taking her profusely afterwards, and felt that I was in the presence of one of the most spiritually powerful people in my lifetime. I will always remember that, and remember Audrey Shenandoah.

One thing we can all do, though it may seem small is leave a corner of your yard, or more with all native grasses and plants. This will help the animals and also show respect for the earth. You can go to a place in the wild that has not been disturbed and gather seeds from the plants to put in your yard. It is something easy to do, and if everyone did this it would help so much.

I remember connecting with mother Earth at age3. I choose to remain connected. I have a question/statement to pose, and I really don't expect any answers, unfortunately, I only get called bad names, but I follow my heart, still. How can it be that nobody's noticed the moon is rolling. It's confounded, as prophesied in Isaia24:23. Scientifically speaking, it's not the moon rolling, it's actually that Earth has been knocked off its 23° axis, and has tilted so that's how we view the moon, nowadays. Ergo, more severity in storms, heat records broken this summer, planting/harvests are no longer the same. Lakes drying, and, it won't get better overnight, beloved. I only ask that you go look at the moon for a few nights, through 8a.m. you'll see for yourself. I could go on and on, but will stop,because my hope is that you reading will act responsibly, and plan for what these elders have themselves divulged.
