I've been living in Crete for two years. Before that, I visited it as a tourist. Crete always stays in the heart of anyone who visits, even for a short time ❤. I'm going in October, flying into Heraklion and staying for 10 days. This is a lifelong dream trip for me as I've been fascinated with the Bronze Age my whole life. I'm planning to see the ruins, then to get to Chania and also do a day trip or two to Santorini. I want to live out the rest of my life there too if I can, so I'm hoping this is just my first adventure there of many. I'm trying to learn Greek as well but it's really hard!

If you like history, I would also recommend visiting the Archaeological Museum in Heraklion. It has a lot of archaeological findings from the island's entire history, including Minoan times and even earlier periods. It's amazing how developed that civilization was 3,000 years B.C. and how many great pieces of art were made during that time. But I would say I feel great in Matala, Ligaria, Elafonisi, Agios Pavlos, Aggio Farago, Tripiti... 🏝Kapetaniana for coffee in the mountains with a sea view 🧋, Komos beach for sunset, Vai for sunrise 🌅... Actually, there are so many wonderful places here. I'm trying to film and remember them all to have memories for a lifetime. And which are your favorites?

Crete Is a beautiful Island I hope not too much has changed. Since my wife and I went 30 years ago. So many lovely things to see. While a walk into the hills is also beautiful There are so many great place and palaces to visit. We went at Easter Cretan's like to celebrate Easter. In the morning If you have egg for breakfast the eggs are beautifully decorated. In the evening after the meal there would be dancing. My favorite drink apart from a beer or wine. 7 star MATAXA lovely and smooth.

I visited Greece in 1967, first to Athens which I found glorious, filled with ancient wonders and friendly people. Then I sailed to Hydra where I had the most relaxing holiday ever.Danced until dawn and drank way too much retsina .leaving with many fond memories of the kindness of the Greek people and a vision of the ancient world I hv treasured ever since. It mattered little to me that, on the day of my arrival in Athens, there was a military coup. When I got home to NZ I followed the progress of the coup, hoping for peace in that lovely country.

Yes, nice video. You asked if you missed some places on Crete. What about Krasi near the Lassithi plateau, the road to the Katharo plateau above the stunning village of Kritsa. Lato, Gortys,Zakros ? I think you still have some filming to do. 😂

A serious notice!All this area from Gilvatar Iberian peninsula to the East coasts of Egypt, Israel and etc are Mediterranean sea!The Crete from North have Agean sea and at the south bordered Libyan sea.I think American don't read enough geography....

Thank you for the video, I found out that investing is not for everybody, you just need a strong stomach too see your portfolio go down. It might be wiser for a novice to start with copy trading investing, but it is not easy. To invest in growth stocks it is another level, definitely you need to know what are you doing.
