This is an awesome video man! Keep up the hard work. My sprocket came loose on my 08 250, and completely stripped the counter shaft splines while I was riding. I gotta pull the engine out to replace the counter shaft, but is there anything I should do before I pull the engine from the frame?

Why would you start assembly on the piston when you have not done the bottomend

I use an oven to get the cases around 200 degrees they usually fall out if not use a blind bearing puller and they come right out. And installing the new bearings freeze the bearings and heat the cases just make sure you drop them in square

Go to motosport.com and look around at the options. I don't think you can buy a whole kit but they do offer OEM parts.

Whats the torque you used for the transmission bolts? In the manual all it says is 16lbf but thats way too tight

That is a pretty reasonable spec, it sounds like a lot but its not.

@@liamperryBRSS i found out it was 9lbf which sounded a lot better to me, but i also did find out 16lbf was just for the drain bolt. Another problem has risen though, my dad got “ambitious” and we broke the clutch basket fingers off after trying to torque that on eithout the special tool. 350$ added to the bill 🤦🏻
