Seat Concepts has a 1.25 inch lower seat for the 300L, and kouba link makes a drop kit for the rear dog bone. If you lower the front the same as the rear it shouldn't negatively effect steering. It's a give and take for us short people... I'll sacrifice some bottoming out for some comfort.

the dog bone link drops it too much 1.25"..For sure that will cause tire to hit under side. Fork only drops about half an inch. The bad thing with dropping the rear too much is the geometry gets all wack and handling suffers.

Greetings, As always another brilliant detailed video production 🇺🇸🍾🎉🇺🇸 When lowering the motorcycle with the new dogbone should I adjust the chain as well? Thank you so much for assisting me and keep producing more videos about the CRF.

Don't know about the dog bone link, I don't use that. But it might change the swing arm's arc swing enough to need to make an chain tension adjustment.

@3:30 aftermarket will definitely “lift” seat height. See my cheap solution on the prior videos with Crf250l shock. Happy to send pics and part numbers etc if you msg me.

I commented on your other video to buy a new seat or shave it, looks like you are a DYI guy. 5’ 2” and I have a will that cfr300l rally will be my challenge (maybe)

don't drill a hole in your shock you are compromising the structural rigidity of the original part

@@DaBinChe motorcycles and short guys are a complicated relationship - you explaining the flamingo style as a short guy was great. I’d love to see how you handle real life riding!

@@hanxor Over 5years ago I had the CRF250L for about a year. Got rid of it cause not enough oomph. Concurrently had the CB300F and felt that the CRF should have that engine. Now that Honda finally put the 300 engine in the CRF I'm back.

@8:00 the lowering dogbone link is longer and makes suspension EVEN softer ( you’ll never get you sag right with stock suspension unless you weigh 50kg ) if you do drop the suspension like you did on the Crf250l don’t forget to put a small collar on the rear shock to stop it bottoming out with the rear tyre hitting the inside of the rear fender on a jump or drop off.. that can end very nastily. Msg me here with your email I have solved this already happy to provide pics and genuine Honda part numbers etc..
