It’s an excellent video. I did crib goch my own back in 2009? I haven’t many photographs of it because I think I spent most of my time concentrating on what I was doing. Now, having watched this video I can’t actually believe that I did this. I continued on to Snowdon and completed the horseshoe on one of the best days ever. I’ve Just subscribed and will be watching some more of your videos to relive walks I’ve done and some to see what I’ve missed out on, as I am of an age where strenuous walks / scrambles are out of reach.

I have done it 2 days ago. Wind and clouds, mist makes it more tough. It is like living on the edge. Please book your parking space before you leave. I have done roadside parking and that was extra 2 miles. Task to check dare. After half track you have to use your hands to climb up. Strong hands and strong legs and some water you need. Slowly and steady you can do it. I like this route better than Watkin Path. Snowdon Summit through Crib Goch. At least once in a lifetime, do it.

Ive been working in Snowdonia all summer and became fascinated by Crib Goch after watching videos of it. But after having a conversation with a member of the Llanberis mountain rescue team and hearing the tales of what happens when it all goes wrong I wouldnt even do it by helicopter. The third pinnacle is extremely dangerous, especially for those without a head for heights. Dodging it to the left is not difficult but you do have to sacrifice more height than you would like then regain it if you're continuing along to Crib Y Ddysgl. That's a good choice for those who attach high importance to surviving their mountain walks.

It's actually more fun in winter, I've done it a few times, in the summer it's best to walk below the ridgeline and use your right hand to balance you as your scrambling across the ridge... try it in winter , the first part is nerve recking, but after that it's quite enjoyable, takes a lot longer to get a cross as the speed is reduced from snow and ice ... but definitely has to be on your bucket list ... well done 🤟🙂

Your life is literally on the edge, I really don’t know I would if I would want to risk that. I saw the videos of a father and his kids which I think is Purely irresponsible on his part no matter how much he train them, if at all. You’re supposed to protect and treasure your kids not put them in harms way

There are lots of people take their kids (and dogs!). I wouldn't do it myself but if they are experienced, have no fear of heights and are properly supervised I don't think it's my place to criticise. But there are some irresponsible people about unfortunately. 👍

It's one of them, no fear of heights and its a piece of cake. But, if you don't like heights it's a tough one. I nearly turned back when no one else turned up to tag along with, but glad I did it now. Thanks for watching 👍

Hi David, yes you can carry on to Snowdon Summit. Then retrace your steps to drop down the Pyg track. I hope you drop lucky with the weather 👍
