Nothing but admiration for what demons you've overcome, young lady. Revealing your inner conversations whilst doing it and filming yourself only adds to it. An extreme therapy maybe but clearly an effective one. I have half climbed so many mountains but turned back at the scary moments. Now, at 65 , I wonder if I can ever do what you have done. Stand tall and continue to have those, at times, ridiculous inner conversations. As a retired English teacher I can only give you a line from Shakespeare. '' Our doubts are traitors and make us lose the good we oft might win by fearing to attempt ''. Keep pushing the self imposed boundaries but stay safe.

Hi Abbie, that was, by a country mile, the best Crib Goch video I have ever seen. I really enjoyed your humility and respect for the mountain and the sheer lack of sensationalism. Living close by (Capel Curig), I have been across Crib Goch more times than I can remember, summer, winter, day and night, rain and sunshine; it never fails to thrill and transport me to state of flow which acts as an effective balm for the chronic anxiety which haunts my waking hours. All of the Snowdonia mountains help me in that way and are a gift that I treasure above all else other than my friends and family. Thank you for presenting the mountain as a valuable portal into understanding oneself and not, as many perceive it, as a tick in a box, an acquisition and an aid to showing the world how gnarly and exciting they can be whilst totally missing the point. Furthermore, it was inspiring to watch you face your demons, feel the fear and do it anyway. Congratulations.

Really enjoyed your video and honesty of how you felt. I did this walk when I was 16 in similar Misty cloud, I’ve never forgotten it and you really do feel on the edge….literally. I love clearing my mind on mountain hikes and can’t recommend it enough. Love your videos Abbie. Keep em coming. 😊
