@@jeffrey5125 personal opinion I love both the UK versions and cannot stop listening to Cricket’s version on repeat at the moment… but Daisy did it better maybe due to the fact that I loved Bonnie Raitt’s original version and I prefer a female singing it

I still hear Seal...the most. And several clues support this: 60...is his age. 2 first innings = he has had 2 No1 hits, gold dust = his albums have sold gold (but yes, so have the other two could possibly be under the costume), INs & OUts...his career has had ups & down...big hits vs not so well done albums, 1990s ...thats when he rose to fame, Cricket = baseball = bat = Batman Returns = Kiss from a Rose, possibly his best known song. (pink) roses on the table = Kiss from a ROSE. (made a ) splash could be a reference to the animal seal. Clue song was about Love...and that is one of the main words/themes associated with Seal and his music/songs. Number 5 could be a reference for him having five (first) names in his full name. ETA: 7 could be a reference to one of his albums, which is titled simply "7" (and that he has made 7 original songs albums...the other are either covers of old hits or LIVE albums). Redhead = one of the many costumes his then wife Heidi Klum wore for their famous annual Halloween costumes parties included a red wig for a famous character. Connection to Tom Cruise could be that TC played Barry Seal in film "American Made". Seal has done similar fun things before: eg. he was on the US version of TMS and put on amazing performance, tricking so may...and he also did a guest role in "Popstar", plus add to this all the wild Halloween costumes he did.... The height throws me off a bit, cause the camera angles and all make it seem as the person in the costume is about same height as Joel, the host, when Seal IRL should be about 10cm taller than Joel, but I am ignoring this for now, cause that is easy to trick on TV (with camera angles, one bending their knees etc etc...) as the height difference is not significant

@@allanj1872 Yes, clues point more towards him/fit him much more. But I always decide based on voice, And for me, personally, (also cause I am relatively unfamiliar with Lamar's voice...compared to Seal) he still sounds more like Seal, hence my guess. We will know, for sure, next week. If it is anyone besides L, S or SW...then I will be surprised. But I do think its one of the three, so there will be no real surprises...just finding out which of the three guesses is correct.

That’s an interesting guess :) I’m stuck inbetween Simon Webbe and Lemar. I REALLY want it to be Lemar because I grew up listening to his songs, I guess. I suppose I’ll just lay back and relax tonight and watch him unmask without worrying IF it is Lemar 🤷🏻Can’t believe it’s the final in a few hours and we’ll finally see him!

It’s the same song?! The same lyrics. The same notes. The original (Bonnie Raitts) is still the best, it’s where it started. It’s just other people bring their own flair, passion and interpretation to its composition. Conor Mason from Nothing But Thieves did a version during in lockdown. You want a voice? Check that out. There is a world of music outside of the late, great George Michaels back catalogue… go open your senses.
