@@js11052 that's absolutely right! And Warner had also just scored a brilliant 253 against a somewhat out of sorts NZ attack, for Australia to impose first innings scoreboard pressure of 559 with NZ having to bat against a very strong Australian attack. And yes it was the record by any overseas played ever against Australia in Australia. It's frankly ridiculous that it's not there and near the top at that. Simply because he's from New Zealand would be my bet. He's one of many very underrated players they've had over the years even though they have often struggled to put a whole world class team on the park in test cricket. Also look at Taylor's career stats across forms today and frankly he is a great allround player, and really does deserve all the credit he gets and probably a good bit more.

Even better, they have the audacity to include Warner's hundred in 2011, a forgettable hundred in a match they LOST. Highest score by a visiting batsman, yes, I give it to him but it came in flattest of the conditions with everyone scoring runs. That bowling attack reduced australia to 37-3 when Clarke came in & scored 329*. I got a little suprised by the arrangement as Faf du Plessis was placed on the first number but still all these players are collectively flamboyant and agressive somewhere.

Asad Shafiq's 4th innings 100 at Gabba deserves to be in the top 20.

Mohammed Yousuf’s century in 2006 at the MCG was pure poetry. Not sure why it’s in the list. Can’t recall a more effortless batting performance in Australia in a long time.

I was amazed to see that Michael Clarke's triple ton vs India wasn't included in this list.

Asad Shafiq 137 almost won the match while chasing epic 459 and it is not on the list. Strange!

Missed important 100 by Graeme Smith at WACA chasing 414 in 4th inning with tennis elbow injury pain.

Nice video but you should've put the names on the number graphic as it's distracting on the action shots.

Almost quarter of the centuries are from Indian tour of 2003. And a case could be made for so many other centuries from the same series. Forget every century! Every ball, every run and every wicket was of high importance. Those who say 2005 ashes was the best, most forget that Australia was already declining by then which made it easier for England to compete. Besides, has England not won the series, most wouldn't even talk about it. Hype was only because the other team was the winner. Just underscores the magnitude of that test series and the fact that Ind vs Australia had become THE contest in cricket. The players understood it. Media didn't want to acknowledge it (English)
I like all the mentions that were not in the top 20 list. There so many options. It must've been really difficult to choose the top 20 and it is understandable many may not agree. Still a great list tho

Brian lara's is the best innings I have seen on Australian soil. I don't think i would rate any one of Don Bradman innings ahead of this innings ,even if videos are available

Sourav Ganguly scored 144 in brisbane 2003-04 vs Australia.. that match was a draw.. still one of the best knocks as a captain in overseas

Some forgotten gems here. Thanks for mentioning Laxman's extremely classy hundred. Only bright spot in an otherwise disastrous series.

Cook's knock is sorely underrated. England were right under the pump when he came in.
