he never spoke about his age to be honest - he spoke in the commentary box like he could easily step out on to the field again, without a moment's hesitation Chris cairns (New Zealand cricketer of the same age as him) got struck down with a heart attack and then a cancer diagnosis, warney looked like he never gave a thought to his own mortality. He carried on like how he wanted to live his life to the end. He probably didnt have a chance to blink

I am from England. Grew up watching that great Australian side torture us in the ashes. Warne is by far my favourite cricketer. I am absolutely gutted he is gone. Absolute pleasure to hv watched this video. Consider myself very lucky to hv watched warne from 92 till his retirement. Without any doubt the best spinner to hv touched this planet. And without any doubt no one can be better than him. Coz he had everything. Apart from his extraordinary talent he had a fantastic flair. An aggression of a fast bowler. He would not rush into his bowling like current bowlers. He had an unmatched art of playing with the batsman's mind while on his bowling mark. That flipping of the ball from his right to left hand was something very special. He would intentionally make the batsman wait while he would be on his bowling mark..what a genius...what a wizard.

@@wizofoz0605 To be fair, Murali was an incredible off spinner, whose action was judged legal. If he was an Aussie, Australia would be taking two spinners to every test match, giving MacGill (the third best spinner of his generation) even less game time then he had.

@@dravid1985 to be fair, Daryl Hair was correct to call Murili's deliveries illegal, because they were under the rules. The ICC changed the rules to allow Murili to continue to play, despite 130+ years of a law that says a bent elbow at delivery was a no-ball. The only real record Murili set was the world record for uncalled illegal deliveries. He is a lovely man and a truly great bowler, but they bent the rules to allow him to play. Shane Warne is the best slow bowler of all time. No doctored pitches, no throws. Just a classic action and a brain which out thought most batsmen.
