You can be caught out off a helmet that is being worn. They changed it a while ago, I am not certain precisely when.

@@CricketCordon IT IS OUT. It changed in 2017. Please look it up. They wanted to encourage the use of helmets. It was implemented as part of a safety review conducted in Australia after the death of Phil Hughes. The ICC adopted the law in 2017.
